The people there are amazing

Store is closing down. Very little left.

Shop at their op shop before they even changed site, and appreciate their devotion in the flood disaster towards locals who suffered and struggled like me. Really appreciate it.

They had good stuff, but the staff were extremely rude.EDIT: I went in today and they were really nice. I believe it depends on the day. Got some good books, ties, and shirts.

Pre COVID when the Salvo's ran, 'The Meeting Place', cafe it was a great place to meet with friends. Today the cafe is no longer normal everyday cafe, the cash register makes no sound any more; instead you will hear the clanking of billiards balls and laughter. Now you can catch up with your friends, play a game or two, or maybe experiment with your creative side. If you just want to chill you may find yourself enjoying the musically talented, as a guitar or harmonica is played.There cafe now provides bread and meals to those in need, as well as self serve coffee or tea. If you come at the right time you may enjoy a cappuccino or latte, of the machine is running.One thing is clear everyone who walks through the door is valued and appreciated. Stay happy
