Small Talk Dulwich Hill
Some of the best bagels in Sydney.I love bagels and am constantly trying to find spots to relive my NYC experience when I discovered Small Talk and this Montreal style bagel which, dare I say, rivals the best I've had in New York. Sadly, a lot of good bagel places reside in the Northern Beaches but Small Talk is my absolute favourite place to grab a bagel in the Inner West and I'm so grateful it opened near me! The bagel itself is SO GOOD. Chewy, crisp an dense without being tough, dry or bready.Wasn't a huge fan of the pastrami which was sliced a little too thick for my liking but we love the lox and salad. Quite frankly, I would eat the bagel on it's own.Portion size wise, it is on the small size so we love getting some oftheir cinnamon donut or fresh focaccia as a snack and take it to a park nearby and enjoy with your coffee!Perfect weekend treat!

The prices are high, yes. But I keep coming back anyway because the bagels (the salad with ham and the lox are amazing) are second to none and the staff are lovely. I will say though the focaccia is a reasonable price and portion compared to other local places. So come and treat yourself people.

We always like to find a new spot to visit for coffee and food and we were recommended to pop into Small Talk in Dulwich Hill by our friends at our local cafe, Panivore. We had not been before, despite it being there for 3 years!Located on New Canterbury Road, but away from the hustle and bustle of the Dulwich Hill shops, it might be easy to miss. However, there’s a big coffee sign out the front and we certainly recommend putting it on your list of destination visits. It’s a small little spot, hence its name, but producing some amazing baked goods. The in house made bagels are outstanding and we bought a few plain ones, as well as the most incredible bagel filled with pastrami, pickles, cheese and special sauce. We’d go back again for this one. They also make doughnuts, fluffy focaccia and a morning bun with cinnamon and chocolate - the perfect little weekend treat! The coffee uses beans roasted by Surry Hills’ Reuben Hills and they do filter, batch brews, espresso and milk based.Make a plan to visit, soon!

Small Talk Dulwich Hill
Super cosy place, of course as its name says it's very small and because of its size it is perfect for quick coffees or breakkies. Handmade pastries and fantastic cappuccinos. Minimal even in the furniture and plates or cups where they serve your food and coffee. They have a small menu but with both savoury and sweet food. A big table inside with some seats close to the wall and other seats outside. Staff very smiling and kind! Prices average.
