Required a quote for up to $20,000 K in timber, waited 3 days, got quote and had to add 1 item, emailed store to confirm quote and addition , no reply for 4 days, rang to find out what's happening, told by staff member they would get onto it first thing, heard nothing that day, next day, rang store again in morning, and same staff person said will get onto it, heard nothing, rang again afternoon and told they are short staffed. Carpenters are to start this Monday ....waited 8 days just to get order confirmed so we can pay for it and get it delivered for Monday. As of Thursday still not heard anything. Very poor business structure /ordering system???and customer service.

Poor customer serivce. The customer service just don't read the email and the messages left via phone never been read or follow up phone call.I decided to ahead with them simply I can save some money. But the customer service is slow and unresponsiveness

This would have to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced.I rang them Monday afternoon for a plaster sheet costing and availability promised I will have it Tuesday morning it didn't happen called again Tuesday afternoon promised again it will be emailed straight again still waiting. Ordered plaster sheets from another supplier got excellent service and ordered straight away. Bowen's very disappointed will never use you again get your act together and train your staff better. To many promises and no action.

Went to Bowens to buy some fence lattice. Big mistake from the very beginning. Was told to order on line which I did and paid for it. I received an invoice and a message to say that when it arrives I will be notified. Two weeks went by so I contacted them and they told me I had already collected the items which I hadn’t. After an hour later I received a call to say my order is ready for collection. When I arrived to collect the fork lift driver said it’s about time I showed up. When he placed the load on my flatbed truck the top length was damaged in three places. I am still missing a section of length due to poor handling. I think they are more geared up for the building industry than a small backyard job. Either way, not happy. Will never go back.

The place has good material, but I think they need a update their site, more coverage.

Ordered the material with delivery had it delivered within 2 days it seemed like no shortage of material great service and couldn't fault the material delivered will use Bowens for any future projects also came in cheaper than 2 other quotes

Horrible service, guys in yard don't assist with loading full length timber. Orders weren't ready when promised. Had to follow up multiple times and got told they forgot my order.

I came here pretty clueless but the staff were so patient with me. They went above and beyond to help me find what I needed.

Staff here are happy to go the extra mile to ensure a great shopping experience

Horrible service, i'm a female and was loading the ute with some pine timber. No one had come to assist me or ask if i was okay until i finished loading a young man had then come by and wrote me a ticket and said just go in and pay! Would not ever recommend and rather go to bunnings or MYM and get better service.
