Officeworks Castle Hill

Due to COVID-19 wearing masks is mandatory from the department of NSW health Gov as of today. Hope the situation get better soon and everyone is safe.Officeworks required customers to check-in mobile app before entrance and also they checked if customers are wearing masks - Good job!There were a lot of people buying stationaries for their children attending school prior to finishing a term 4 school holiday of 2020.Some stationaries already ran out of and shelves were almost empty although staffs seemed to be very busy at doing their best at restocking products.One of staffs was very helpful to find me a necessary stationary and his knowledge was pretty deep and informative to help me to make a quick decision as well. Most of staffs were profession and kids friendly - thank you very much!!Definitely recommended

no more on the spot counter printing despite no warning of this being the case & the officeworks website still listing the print service. stay well away from this store if you're ever in a rush to get a print job done.

I've made a few print orders here before but never again, told my print would be delayed despite needing it at a certain time, only told about the 30$+ prints and not the cheaper options- try North rocks office works instead, they've saved the day for the incompetence here, they like to not hand over receipts as well. Had to pull my bank statements for a refund

Extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful staff.I went to get some scans and two of the employees rudely asked me to figure it out when I asked help with the scanner .it was around 11am and the place was not busy at all .most of the employees were just standing around their stations without doing anything.Most of the staff act as they are working for freeAfter this horrible experience I went to office works at wenthworthvill and the staff were so great and friendly and got the get the job done in no time

Very disappointed with the service. I asked for 30 cards ( not pages ), with 4 designs per page to be printed. The lady that served me asked to clarify whether 30 and I agreed. Then went on to print 30 pages of the design which ended up being 120 cards.When I told her that I had said 30 cards, she went on to say that she had already checked with me and I had agreed to 30 pages. Despite there being miscommunication I would have expected for there to be a better service and for my issue to have been solved. To top it off the cards were all differently cut and none of the 4 piles she gave me were the same. Very unprofessional.

If I could give no stars I would! And, I can understand why you only have a 2.2 Star rating.Rang to confirm I could have 4 document bound while I wait. “Yes, were a little busy but we can do this for you”I turned up and waited in the Queue to watch a disinterested staff member watching two customers scrolling through their phone for photos but not actually ordering anything.When the sales assistant saw people in the Queue talking about the wasting of time. She apologised and finally realised 30minutes was a stretch and asked them to wait to one side while the decided.Finally, it’s my turn to be served.“Oh, you’ve got 4 different thickness documents” I’ll need to have the staples taken out. So, I remove 2 staples.Then her colleague piped up. “This is not how it works”Meaning you can’t just turn up and get things bound.Which is not what I was told on the phone.My original sales assistant has now agreed to bound 2 documents, as I was happy to bundle 4 documents into 2.But then she calls her manager who says NO.I think his name was Jason, dark hair, unshaven.Jason isn’t going to entertain any of this is going to shut it down.He explains the worked needed to be booked in. BUT, if I can give him a staff members name, he’ll do my binding. Unfortunately I didn’t have a name so I didn’t get my binding done. What a stupid way to negotiate.Firstly, your staff lied on the phone.Secondly, the original person I saw in store was prepared to do it, even asking me to remove the staples and consolidate 4 documents into 2.And as for the store manager. Useless, showing no empathy or demonstrating ANY problem solving skills. He looked at no options WHATSOEVER!And when I mentioned I wouldn’t return to the store due to such poor service he said. “ that’s your prerogative”Indeed it is Jason, which is why we’re taking our business worth over $200,000 to Officeworks to someone else.It’s bad service like this which allows others to have a lucky break.My advice.Give small businesses a go and forget OfficeWorks.I know everyone is struggling to find good staff, but send Jason back to where he came from. He’s not doing your business any favours.

Unlike other Officeworks, this store seems like they are either understaffed or not really interested. War trying to get hold of someone for a printer cartridge, had to wait at least 15 minutes just to have a word... Then finally after picking it up asking with other things had to leave coz the wait to check out was ridiculous..

I agree with degan below me. We tried to print a photo and it doesn’t work . We pressed all the buttons and yelled at the machine and nothing. Glad they refunded my $1.35 but I really wanted those photos of my cat

My jaw dropped when I saw the score given to this store. I have always received a good service at this store. Everything's in place and organised and the staff are helpful.

No more counter service printing on the spot! Need to book it in and come the next day, so essentially 2 trips for one job! Absolutely no warning whatsoever about stopping the service.
