Dave is kind, compassionate and offers great advice during difficult times.whilst there to see Dave, every time we bumped into Monica she would also take the time to have a chat and see how we were.you can tell they both have your well being in mind and also make you feel completely at home while there.They offer a very good and much needed service.

I Have been seeing David for The last 5 years or so, on a weekly basis, I can Honestly say that he has helped me through some difficult times, Dave has helped me to become a better person and understand that people are all different, Dave has even told me things that I probably did not want to hear at the time, but after thinking about what he said....... He made a very good point... And most of all, I understood what he was trying to say, He has also guided me through decisions in my business, and yes it all worked out , from relationship advice to Being a father, it doesn’t seem to matter what the subject is, Dave has Always helped me to make the right decision on all of what I’ve thrown at him. Dave, Thank you for being in my life , You have made me a better, stronger and more accepting person.

It isn’t often someone would come out and review a counsellor but after hearing about a recent negative review I am compelled to step up. As a fellow health care professional I know it is not ethical to reply to any negative reviews of oneself, this leaves us open to attack.I have seen David over the years, initially at a time my whole world had collapsed and found both his relaxed manner and ability to gently call a spade a spade was very helpful in guiding me through this time. I learned from this that a counsellor is there to guide you but it is you that has to do the work on yourself.Many years later I see David often as more of a life coach, to bounce off my ideas good and bad to help me achieve the best version of myself I can be.I have also referred him several people who needed quite special care.I have no hesitation in giving him the highest of recommendations.

I have been in counselling with David at cooks hills counselling for the past 18months. When I began I was a broken woman, miserable and struggling in my marriage. David has always been professional, friendly and approachable. I had to learn that much of the work to rebuild my life was my responsibility. But with David's guidance I always felt supported and safe. I couldn't recommend him more highly.
