The manager and other workers are incredibly knowledgeable in their exercise physiology. However that isn’t why they are getting this review. They are so warm and welcoming, it makes every workout a joy and I thank the workers for creating such a safe space to exercise in. If I could give 6/5 stars I would!

Love this place! Compact gym underneath ACU in Fitzroy. Good weights area with everything you need plus a bigger group fitness area with classes. Staff here are friendly and welcoming. Good place to knuckle down and dig yourself a hole.

A great place for someone starting a gym routine. All the staff are pretty knowledgeable, understanding of your needs and friendly, thereby creating a plan for me which felt comfortable at the same time gradually challenging me. Other than that, its a clean and tidy space with a good vibe!

Great Value! ACU Active's memberships are very affordable and offer a whole lot of options. The small group fitness classes are high energy and great fun. Gym floor is great with all the weights you could possibly need. Staff are very knowledgeable and approachable!

A fantastic gym in the heart of Fitzroy, has everything you need, equipment, classes, great staff, and is extremely well-kept. I've been a member for a few months and I'm extremely happy.

I have been going to ACU Active for the past 2 and half years now. I have never felt so comfortable at a gym with friendly staff that are always willing to give you a hand when you need it. The classes are great and have helped me achieve my fitness goals. Highly recommend!

Quality gym that prides itself on creating a vibrant and community feel for community members. A hidden gym in an otherwise busy part of Fitzroy. I find the price very reasonable as well. The staff are always so welcoming and give great advice which helps a lot.

Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced for students, not crowded and the staff are super friendly and approachable. A very safe, accessible place for all people no matter their experience with going to a gym.

I have been coming to ACU Active for just over a year now, its a great gym with an even better environment! The staff members are all very knowledgeable and friendly! Would highly recommend to people looking to start going to the gym :)
