Russell has great knowledge on the area and best wineries to visit. A great tour guide for the day! Lunch was amazing and no hidden costs throughout the day, great value for money. Couldn’t have asked for a better wine tour cheers Russ!

Great company, great wineries, great food! Russell was very knowledgeable about the area and created a great atmosphere for the day! We loved that it was boutique wineries and we learned a lot! A very well spent day and great value for money! It was especially lovely to be able to bring our fur baby! Thank you for making it such an enjoyable day! Great playlist!

Thoroughly enjoyed the entire day.As we were a small group, Russell was very laid back and was able to check our preferences for where we would prefer to visit. Loved the wines and cider. Margies is a great day out.

Margies Big Day Out
We had an amazing experience with Margie’s Big Day Out! Our tour guide Russell was awesome, he had a great playlist, sense of humour and really paid attention to everyone on our tour. Moreover, since our accomodation was quite far away from the other people on the tour’s accomodation, Russell kindly offered to reimburse us for a taxi back so we didn’t have take the 45 minute bus trip back.

More of a transport service experience than tour. Unfortunately there were issues with the planned pick up times and the bus had no music apart from the rattling of the wheelchair ramp all day. Was informed upon getting on that 2/3 of the wineries will charge us a tasting fee and no beer tastings was offered at lunch as listed on the website. On a positive the food at black brewing co was great as were the staff at Wills Domain.

Russ was absolutely fabulous, picked us up dead on time provided great chats and valuable insights into the history and fun facts of the wine region. We only had a small group this time but small or large the groups have been quality fun people. His selection of winery's and brewery's exceeded our expectations. Loved making random friends, bought lots of wine and had lots of fun. Solid day out. Will definitely use again & again!

Margies Big Day Out
Russell’s taken us and our dog out a couple of times now and each time has been brilliant. Russel is easy to chat with beforehand and sent us updates and clear instructions so we were ready for the day.Choice of wineries was great and Russell ran the day really well. We’d happily jump aboard again next time we’re down south!
