Avoid this place. Absolutely zero stars. CX-7 booked in for engine problem and service. Called a week later to check progress and told no work done as awaiting approval to do diagnostics check. Told them it was booked in, they say they called and left message. No msg or missed calls on our phones. Receive call, sensors need replacing $1500. Freight could be 2 weeks. Call 2 weeks later, sorry sensors are fine, timing chain and gasket need replacing, new quote $2500. Freight again. Check on progress, work completed Friday, mechanic called you. No call received. Today is Thursday??? Car sitting there for a week. Asked for $3200. Advised that's not what what they told us. Staff are liars and do not return calls. We are seeking legal help. Engine light still on and no reverse camera when we got car back. Had car for 8 weeks, knew we needed car. Not even a loaner car. But wait there’s more. Update: sat in office for 3 hours, initially telling me may be issue with catalytic converter. Eventually told me it was just sensors reacting to fixed problem. The reverse camera not working was due to corrupted SD card. This was working before they had the car. Too bad they say, $900 to fix. No thanks.Ok so I have sent an email in response to my post. I also sent an email to this address while it was at Lismore Mazda and have not had any response. After being checked and cleared I drove to Sydney and back with the engine light on all the time. Now if I want to sell it who would buy it with an engine warning light on?So two weeks on. Engine light still on. 2 x emails sent with no response.

Vehicle towed to Mazda Dealership with Electrical Issues, was asked to allow 3 hours diagnostics and after 3 weeks' time was then asked to authorize a further 3 hours diagnostics as they believed there was a problem with the gearbox. Had to pay $640.00 for the initial 3 hours diagnostics. After denying the request for more time trucked vehicle to another workshop and after 10 minutes discovered that the vehicle had 3 blown fuses and after replacing them the vehicle was rectified and driving as normal. After speaking to Service Manager Matthew Brady was only offered a refund of .7 of an hour as we were charged for 3.7 hours of diagnostics. Very poor customer service in my opinion.

Extremely happy with my Lismore Mazda experience!Went to see Harley on a Monday with a view to purchasing my new car and was adamant about what I wanted in terms of colour, features etc. Expected to be waiting a while for my chosen car yet I took delivery of it just 1 week later on the following Monday!These guys are slick, I could not have hoped for a better outcome. Special shout-out to Hannah in the service department and also Sonya who fine tuned all the extras. Great work guys!Cheers, Hillary

The Mazda franchise seems ok and has the benefit of throughput. I was however at the Honda franchise, nearby, and that's not so flash. The vehicle offering is limited relative to Mazda, there's a lot of Mazda vehicles available, but a Honda warranty enquiry has so far taken three weeks to not be resolved. Whether that's a Northern Rivers Honda problem or a Honda Australia problem I don't know and frankly don't care - it just needs to be sorted.

Called a week ago with an issue with my car. Was told someone will get back to me. Been a week and still haven’t heard back from them after calling them every 2nd day for a call back with my issue with my car. When you buy a brand new car you expect better customer service in return after spending a lot of money.

Booked my BT 50 in for them to fix. They had it for 4 weeks and couldn’t fix it got it towed out to another mechanic had it back in 2 days. They told me it was gearbox issue turns out it was a blown fuse. They are hopeless

I would like to specifically highlight how dedicated was a sales guy Jayden, that was the most pleasant experience of dealing with a sales person so far, no pushing to do anything, helping with all my questions. I was looking for a specific model and color, and called multiple dealerships but Jayden was the one who was really willing to help and found the best deal for me, suitable for my timeframe as well. Jayden handed over a car to me a couple of days earlier when it was expected which was amazing, and helped me with an introductory drive as well. It was very very nice experience in general without any worries. I can recommend this centre and Jayden specifically if you're looking for an assistance of buying a new car.Thank you,Jenya

Would not recommend taking any vehicle there for anything. Car has been there for nearly 4 weeks and still not fixed. Very Poor communication staff are rude with no people skills or customer service skills. Will never be taking a car there again or buying a car.

The Turbo in my Mazda 2014 CX5 Akera Turbo Diesel failed. The car has only traveled 116,000k's. I had a quote of $10000 locally in Ballina so I took it to Lismore Mazda for an assessment, a quote and hopefully get it repaired. They had the car for 3 weeks before I had to get in touch with them for information. They gave me a sort of quote and said again they'd get back to me. I had to get in touch again 3 weeks later and their, sort of quote, had gone up to something like the Ballina ridiculous amount. I bought the car originally from Frizelles at the Gold Coast (same company) and I would never use, recommend them or Mazda again. I thought the car was great until this happened. Be very careful buying a Turbo Mazda
