Wild Woods Nature Trail
The Rotary Club of Deloraine owns a reserve adjacent to the Meander River known as Wild Wood (or Wildwood!). The reserve is a home for native fauna, and is a pleasant retreat from the hustle and bustle of Deloraine. There is a loop walking tracking of around one kilometre in length, but no other facilities.Foot access is through the southern end of the Deloraine Caravan Park. The reserve is part of a low river flood plain with old-growth native olive trees, swamp peppermints, deciduous beech, mature oaks and sycamore grovesand even a platypus viewing playformgreat little quiet walk
