Sonship Op-Shop

Huge variety of goods at very reasonable prices and lovely service with a smile

I use to love going here until the prices started getting higher I'll occasionally pop in for a look only recently to find prices are even higher again very sad when all is donated

The new managers of Sonship, Chris and Pat Frahm told me today that there is nothing in this shop for you to buy and you need to leave." When I asked on what grounds they were refusing to allow me to shop at Sonship they said "We don't have to give you any reason." The owner Helen Oliver also said that I was not allowed back into the shop (with no reason given.) I have supported this op shop for three years. I would NOT recommend anyone to support or to donate any goods to Sonship."

Lovely staff and nice sized op shop supporting a good cause. Although there location was previously wrong on google maps I updated it to the new location.

To think with with how everyone is struggling to cope with rising costs of living, for a shop that gets items donates for free, you'd think their prices would be a little more lenient.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Store was very well set-up & plenty of parking.

The staff here are super nice and friendly the older gentleman with glasses provided excellent and genuine customer service. The range of goods they had here was astounding. I would definitely recommend popping in if you are in the area.

One only staff at check out overworked had to answer phone calls at the same time as serving customers. Yet there was another staff member chatting to customers behind me. I thought it was a bit rude and u caring of customers. She put the phone customer on hold as well as the customers lined up. Whilt it is a charity, customers are paying and could be seen as supportive, I didn't observe consideration. I also saw a woman who had purchased a chest of drawers challenged rudely by a 'staff member' who wanted to '...show me your receipt? the response I didn't get one ask the cashier. He was quite rude and abrupt towards the customer. Even volunteers could show respect to customers. I dont think I will go there again never seen so much rudeness or lack of respect towards customers.

This is a large op-shop with a section for furniture. Prices are very reasonable. Heaps of variety and stock changes daily. One little tip - go early. You'll probably find what your looking for.NB: they only accept cash. There is an ATM across the road in the servo. Happy shopping.
