Lowood Pet Lodge

Hi I was booked in at the end of November - rang to confirm and their numbers have been disconnected. Have been told by others that they have moved to Charters Towers and the kennels are no longer. We received no communication from the kennels that they were closing. Lucky i did not just rock up with my dogs :(

I bought a 12 month old pup from Rebecca and was told he was laid back, didn't bark and friendly. I got pup home where he immediately started pacing and trembling and shrank back if you tried to pat him. He was petrified of everything, definitely not socialized or toilet trained. He barked incessantly at the tv, and the slightest noise from outside. I waited a week to see if he would calm down. Just as you think you were gaining his trust he would revert back to pacing and shaking. Now I understand it could take many months to settle him, but as a senior with mobility issues recovering from cancer I specifically asked for a dog who was friendly, cuddly and laid back. This dog is none of those things. When I rang Rebecca to tell her I was bringing pup back and why she said she would ring the next day. Of course she didn't ring and all my calls go to message bank. I have lost $1,500 and my stress levels are at breaking point. What happened to this dog to make him so fearful?

Very friendly people, treats your dog as their own, extremely clean and plenty of room for your to run, highly recommended, our dog Bear had a great time

Samson always thoroughly enjoyed his stay there and I would not have brought him anywhere else. Thanks Julie and Graham for looking after Samson for all the many stays he’s had.
