Western Plains Riding Centre
Loved it! Owner and staff were very welcoming and helped us learn as we took the horses around the field. Took a lesson after and found it to be even more fun than a trailride through the lovely country scenery. Would highly recommend for regular lessons or just a drop in.

Western Plains Riding Centre
I loved the course. For $60, you can have a lesson, including how to stop, a simple walk, trotting and how to speed up. You would start the lesson in a big sand filled area for practise. Then, when you have the hang of riding, you would go out into the field and have a 15 minute trot. Afterwards, you go out with a group of people and ride in the big grassroots and in the bush. Would absolutely recommend! Although the stables smell, you do get used to it after a while.

The instructors were very friendly and they taught us so well and with patience. Kids had lots of fun too.. highly recommend this place. Very good service and affordable prices.

Fantastic locally owned and run business, I cannot recommend Western Plains Riding Centre enough! Emma is an amazing instructor who is incredibly patient, understanding, knowledgeable and passionate in what she does. She has never let me down the countless times I have attended the centre, and I always have a wonderful time riding- be it a trail ride or a lesson. All of the staff know each of the horses and take time to consider which horse you are suited to. If you are looking to learn to ride, or even just a relaxing trail ride through the country side, you should definitely visit this centre.

Western Plains Riding Centre
We visited Western Plains Riding Centre over the long weekend in Dubbo. The staff (Gemma, Amy, Emma and Bronte) were amazing in escorting the eight of us with varied horse riding experiences! The horses like Gunner were well looked after, would recommend and come back for a visit when in town. Sure, the place smells slightly and you have stops - but it is to be expected on farm.
