We used contractors from Bay building group for some insurance work we needed. Gyprock replacement and painting mainly. Everyone we came in contact with, from the administration to the actual tradesmen doing the work were as professional as you could wish for. The work was performed as contracted on time and of good quality. Everything was put back in place and all mess cleaned up and waste removed. Follow up calls were made by management to ensure all was correct.We would happily recommend The Bay Building group.

Bay Builders were assigned to us by our insurance company. They arrived the very next day and assessed the damage. It is really difficult to get hold of them and let the work start. But they came and discussed everything with us. completed the work on time and was amazing with any questions I had. They reply to your messages and discuss everything with you, which is really good.

Would NOT recommend under any circumstances!I was assigned Bay Building Group via my insurance company to complete my repairs after the severe storms in February. They came out and assessed the damage in March, returning to put sand bags on my roof immediately.3 weeks ago they sent out another assessor- who had no idea why he was there and he assured us the report would be sent to the insurer that afternoon.It has now been 5 months since the initial assessor was at my home and we are STILL awaiting the report to be sent to my insurer!Their communication, organisation and efficiency is far less than adequate.Each time I phone them directly, my call is never answered, if a message is left, no phone back is ever received.I have been liaising with my insurer every fortnight, who have been contacting the company directly each time, assuring the report would be submitted by the end of each week- we still await.To no avail , my insurer has put in a formal complaint against the company on my behalf through their internal systems - in order to attain some action.I have two asthmatics living at home, there is mould growing in the home and with recent rain the damage has worsened!I am extremely disgusted with this process and this company. This is my experience to simply obtain the report, let alone complete the work!Bay Building have my case number and my contact number. I would be very interested to see what they have to say for themselves.

The workers were punctual.Workmanship was excellent.Informed me what they were doing, how long it would take etc.They were efficient.Excellent quality.Cleaned up when the work was completed.I recommend them to everyone who needs good workmanship with a friendly smile.V. Kristovskis

Alex and his team were phenomenal. Can’t thank him enough. Great workmanship replacing cornice, part of ceiling, repainting 2 whole ceilings. The preparation work was great. Covered all my furniture, moved what they had to, took down paintings. Replaced everything and swept and cleaned area. Arrived when they said they would, kept me uptodate with progress. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Like many others we were allocated Bay Building Group by our insurer NRMA after lodging a claim.I have never made an insurance claim on my home previously and now know that if I ever do again and Bay Building Group are assigned, I will request someone else.The builder/assessor who attended seemed incompetent and focused on irrelevant factors, provided no insight on the process and ultimately put forward the suggestion to deny our claim based on something that did not even exist.Based on the reviews I am reading, clearly the incompetency was not an isolated incident.

If NRMA refers them to you strongly decline and go with a different company they are a scams. Had to call and get my lawyer involved as they tell NRMA a crazy price to take profits for them selves. And made a half day job take over 6 months still not done btw . Do not deal with them.

During this week we have had the pleasure of having Alex and Jack, who are plasters and painters, in our home while they repaired damage to our ceilings in several rooms of our house. They were absolutely fantastic tradesmen. When they had completed their work the ceilings looked like new (despite our house being 50 years old!)At the conclusion of each day's work they vacuumed and removed any building rubbish from our home.I would highly recommend them to anyone who was considering plastering or painting in their home.Moreover, they were so respectful and kind to us as an elderly couple. Their trustworthiness shone through and their generous nature was really evident when they replaced a cracked tile on our roof which was not in their job descriptionAt times during the repairs being done, we were absent from our home, and we had no hesitation in trusting Alex and Jack in our absence.Janet Smith and David Smith

Bay Building Group were assigned by my strata company to complete a floor replacement after the storms in February. Here we are in November and the work is still not even approved by the insurance company due to many misunderstandings" in their own words. They have sent several people out to confirm the required works and measurements yet rooms have been missed and variations and still boucing around with their internal teams. Calling them just returns finger pointing to others and only when you follow up their claims with the 3rd parties you find out everyone is waiting on Bay. Looking forward to Chrismtas on concreate... My advise is to steer clear of this company if you have any choice!"
