My everyday shopping place I love it but wish they had more tellers open

Awful. Disabled person arrived 15 min before opening. Store had open doors.They were told to wait outside in the cold with no nearby seats or to shop at the other supermarket (decent walk for someone struggling and using a cane). It seems the 'community bench' inside is only for open hours.Really poor treatment for a small community.I think the other supermarket and food/grocery retailers are a better option.

This is my go to Safeway as it is closest to my residence. I understand I have to pay the supermarket rorted prices on vegetables (go to your local market if ya can, you save the big bucks m8). Staff here are usually apathetic and just going through the motions without much care in the world which I can respect. The supermarket retail career can be mundane grind.The patrons at this establishment may require some caution. I once witnessed a scraggly women go ballistic at an elderly lady for wearing a face mask. Relax women, she is just looking out for your health AMIR!?Anyways giving this facility a 5 star because the shiitake mushrooms wouldn’t scan at the self serve checkout and the attendant (a fine chap with a majestic beard) said not to worry about it and that I could have the shiitake mushrooms for free. That’s even better than the local market price!Their $2.50 食パン was good value too

It's a full size shop...has everything. Including nice staff.

Purchased 4 items today and was charged $19,50 ..only when I got home did I realize that I was overcharged $5.50 the items were 2 bottles of sauce $4.70 each 2 cans of cooking spray at $2.50 total $+4.40 why was I overcharged $5.50

Depending on the day and where I happen to be in Ballarat I will often find myself shopping at either Ballarat Central, Delacombe or Lucas Woolworths stores. I can't seem to understand why one shop will have a certain product on their shelves but the other won't even stock it! Are they not all the same store? This store in particular I found to not stock a large percentage of what the other two do and they are in the heart of the town! I like to be loyal to the stores I usually shop at but have found myself on a number of occasions just leaving this store and walking another 50m into Coles where a lot of the prices are actually cheaper.

Stop blocking the aisles with pallets. No possible way for disabled patrons to get around. This is ridiculous.

People steal here and staff are told to let them leave and we pay full price! No fair!

One of the best supermarkets in Ballarat, bakery in store and great staff

Clean store. Plenty of staff. Nearly all products were in stock. Checkout staff were pleasant to chat to, a skill that I have noticed is improving.
