Reserved a booking for 3. Arrived and was told, sorry, fully booked. Why bother taking a reservation when they have double booked the table. Left to find somewhere else to eat dinner. Not a very good experience.

At last an Italian restaurant in the Glen Iris/Ashburton area that serves truly authentic Italian food. My wife and I, with others, have dined in on a number of occasions now. Every time we have tried different options and have been very pleased with each and every choice.The quality of the food brings back fond memories, from dining in a Roman restaurant, to a small village in the hills of Tuscany. Only the best ingredients are used. Staff and service have always been excellent, and the skills of the chef admirable.[PS: Don't be confused with some reviews that relate to another Italian restaurant at this location]

Beautiful Italian restaurant with an excellent range of food and service. We had the pizza, prawn and scallop salad, pan fried gnocchi - but our favourite was the seafood linguine! The food was amazing and the portions were reasonably large. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Simply authentic Italian food. Very well cooked and freshly made always.Great value for money the servings are quite generous and large.Staff are very welcoming and always very hospitable with whatever you need.Highly recommend you visit this restaurant, it will not disappoint !

Great place, good food. Has done well going through change of brand, place seems a lot tidier and presentable these days which is really nice!. We have to giggle at the random books still on the bookshelf (VTAC book from 2007 if I remember?) in the dining area? I think it would be really advantageous to declutter abit more and get the space feeling abit fresher. Food options and range really great. Delicious. Service great!

Such a authentic Italian restaurant!Beautifully fresh pasta, seafood and pizzas. The specials menu is divine and provides meal options that aren’t common in many other Italian restaurants. Would 100% recommend this place for a tranquil experience which accommodates everybody’s needs.

Absolutely lovely accomodating man answered the phone to book. Food was sensational fresh and full of flavour. A little chilly inside front area of restaurant. It will be great if forethought to get the heater replaced or repaired for winter. Lots of other guests immediately requested to be seated upstairs instead where it was warm and cozy. Unfortunately we couldn’t dine upstairs nor go to the toilet as my partner is unable to climb stairs. Overall though a wonderful authentic italian experience definitely not mainstream common food.

We booked for 6:45pm for three people. We arrive at the establishment at 6:48. No staff greet us and we notice all tables occupied. While we’re still waiting for any acknowledgement from the staff another group who also booked arrive.The staff finally greet us and ask for our booking details. He then points at a full table with a family half way through their meal and says ‘that’s supposed to be yours shit’. He then fumbles arround a bit more and says ‘sorry yeah there’s no tables’.Don’t both booking here. Don’t bother coming here. Rude service and poorly run obviously. Super disappointing as we like supporting local businesses.We went up the road to Oydis instead and the service, food , drinks and vibe were immaculate. Go to oydis , so pho so good or QT kitchen in the area in stead of this shambles of a place. 0/5 stars
