Hunchy Hideaway Montville Accommodation

I was looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend away and that's exactly what I got! Hunchy Hideaway is a five minute drive from Monteville Main Street. The site is tranquil with the cabins perfectly nestled against or within the rainforest (pick the cabin named Orange Blossom if you want to be within the rainforest - it also has Wifi and a friendly possum that vists). The cabins are separated enough that you can see glimpses of the neighbouring cabins, but complete privacy is maintained. All I could hear during my three day stay was the sounds of the rainforest. As another reviewer called them, the cabins are rustically elegant. The ammenities were as expected for a 4-star hotel. The fridge and pantry was stocked with a range of quality breakfast foods and beverages. There were delicious scones in the fridge, and a Nespresso machine! The owners are very friendly and give you your space. When asked by Jack (one of the owners) upon departure what my stay had been like, my response was Perfect!"."

My partner and I stayed at this beautiful place for my birthday. It was absolutely gorgeous, clean and comfortable. We loved having our own space to disconnect from our busy lives and focus on each other.The hideaway is fantastic and I could not recommend it highly enough!The owner was kind and helpful. We loved the delicious breakfast hamper that was provided.

If you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful one, or both! I would definitely recommend Hunchy Hideaway! My partner and I stayed in the Gum Nut cottage, and we were blown away with how nice it was! The spa bath is huge, surrounded with windows of a gorgeous view of being high up in the trees! The location of the cottages are perfect, as all of them are quite secluded from each other. So, you have all the privacy you need. The owners are really accommodating as well. The cottage had a coffee machine, along with lots of options for breakfast. The location of Hunchy Hideaway is only just a short drive from Montville town area which was really convenient. My partner and I, will definitely be coming back again to stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sound of the local wildlife, while enjoying a beautiful candle lit spa is the epitome of tranquil. We will be attempting to come back here again. Thank you jack and family for hosting such a wonderful weekend away.

From the moment we arrived at Hunchy Hideaway it was truly a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The owners & staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort & satisfaction. The cottages were exceptionally clean & private. We can’t wait to return & highly recommend this accommodation for a romantic getaway.

I had the privilege to have a very relaxing solo stay in the Gumnut cottage at Hunchy Hideaway over the weekend and it was absolutely beautiful. As a single Mum and a nervous traveller it was nice to get away and enjoy some time alone safety and privately. Location was easy to find. Jack and Lana are very welcoming and once I was shown around I got to kick back relax and enjoy some beautiful treats in the comfort of my own cottage. The spa on the sunset was spectacular and the overall atmosphere tranquil. I will never forget my stay. And I look forward to coming back one day in the future. Thank you Jack and Lana.

Jack and Lana have something naturally beautiful and are dedicated to keeping it that way. Jack and Lana were so welcoming and I could tell they're very genuine, beautiful and caring people. Jessie and I really enjoyed our secluded time together and found it natural to talk to Jack for anything if we needed to but most conversations were like we were friends. We'll definitely be back and I hope to grow a genuine friendship with these beautiful people.

We had a wonderful stay at Hunchy Hideaway. Was very relaxing and private in a tranquil environment. Can hear the creek in the background and there’s a great walking trail. The spa bath and bed were comfortable and the addition of music playing with a wine, chocolates and roses on arrival made it extra special. The scones supplied were fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend it as a place to visit to relax and connect with your partner.

Hunchy Hideaway is lovely location not far from Montville. The cabins are well appointed, very comfortable and private, great for a romantic getaway. Nice deck for outdoor cooking on the bbq with plenty of visits from the local wildlife. We recommend going there and will go back again.Scott & Kylie
