I love this studio! I have been seeing Jayne for 3 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. She gets it right every time! Everyone at the studio is really friendly, and they spoil me while I'm there. My next appointment is Wednesday and I can't wait. 10/10 and I would recommend this studio to anyone and everyone!

Jayne is the best of the best. Her colouring is so natural and perfect, and the salon is always so friendly and beautiful. I love supporting two girl bosses running such an impressive business together!

Jess, Jayne, and the wonderful bunch of women at By J Creative Studio have created a space to not only have your hair spruced, it is also a lovely place to escape to for pampering. They have great chat, a lush drinks list including cocktails, and comfortable places to sit and lay while being beautified. Jess is a master and a perfectionist, which is the type of hairdresser I need in my life. Love this place to bits!

Jess is phenomenal at what she does. Every time I walk into the salon I know that I am in safe hands as she absolutely nails my hair every time and I walk out feeling amazing. The salon is also such a warm and welcoming space, all of the staff are lovely.

I have been having my hair colored and styled by Jess for almost 2 years now. I always leave the salon so happy with my hair, as she does such an amazing job each and every time! It was so exciting to see Jess and Jayne make By J Creative together. It is such a lovely and calming space that is always very tidy. I buy my shampoo, conditioner & treatment from the salon as well, the products they stock, Original Mineral, are great quality, Australian made & cruelty free. I can’t wait for my next appointment with Jess. I could not recommend By J Creative more.

I’m blonde so it’s extremely high maintenance. Jayne is one of the best hairdressers I have ever had. She truly listens to what I want done to my hair and executes beautifully. My blonde hair is in the best condition of my life! I love that she only cuts micro amounts of length off and not chop and hack away like majority of others. Customer service is great, prices are great, salon is great. I highly recommend!

Jess is honestly the best hairdresser in Australia, let alone Newcastle.Her depth of knowledge in the hair industry is ridiculous - she's travelled more than once to NYC for Fashion week and has attended countless training sessions over the years in high-end salons.She's been in the industry for upwards for 10 years now and I will trust nobody except her for my hair needs.With hair health as her priority, you are guaranteed to walk away with the strongest and best hair you've ever had as a result of seeing her.She always has my hairs' best interest in mind when I go to her with my crazy ideas (then when I want to go back to blonde again) and uses Vegan & Cruelty Free products in salon.From her hair cutting, to treatments, to colouring & styling, Jess is your go to for everything your hair needs.She's the best hairdresser I've ever had and will continue to see her for this, alongside her friendly & loving nature, and willingness to continuously go above and beyond for each and every client.Thank you for always making me feel amazing, Jess!
