Nudgee Beach Dog Park

Best set up ever. Off leash beach area nearby. Fenced area segregated for small and big dogs. Good social dog crowd gathering place and mobile dog wash some weekends. Nags regularly provided and maintenance sometimes lacking by council but otherwise reliable.

Good dog beach but full of mossies. Great for sunrise on a low tide.

Great facility for dogs to play, run on the beach, and swim. It is best to go at half tide (either in coming or outgoing) so there is plenty of sand and water.

At low tide you can walk forever, bring old shoes as it can get muddy in places. Dogs get the zoomies running on the beach and chase birds. On Sunday mornings there is a coffee van and dog wash. Lots of cyclists and dog people.

Our first visit to this dog beach and we LOVED IT!!!! We have had dogs for 7+ years and visited lots of parks, beaches and bush areas but have somehow never been to Nudgee.There is soooo much space for your dogs to run and play without being near other dogs if you don’t want to be. Easy to get to from any part of Brisbane for a convenient half-day trip.Your dogs will get dirty so be prepared to give them a bath afterwards or you will probably find black sand all through your house!We will be back for sure.

Great beach for your dog to run around and play in the water. The doggy bath and coffee place there is awesome!!

It's a good dog park and beach. The only issue is, there is a perfectly good and large bike path, but the cyclists in their infinite stupidity still take up the whole Rd. And when you are driving 80k down the Rd ( that's the speed limit) I'd preferred not to have a spandex wrapped affirmative action hires spread across the lane for vehicles. Maybe I should just drive on the bike path, it's not like the cyclists use it. At no point should I have to drive on the wrong side of the road ever!! At the very least they could use what little brain power they have left, and communicate using hands free on the phone or hands free walkie talkies. You do not all need to be next to each other to talk. A single file would be dope and probably safer.
