Alkimos Plumbing and Gas

My Dad called these guys out for a quote to repair a hot water system, Dad asked if there was a call out fee and he was told no. There's no fee for a quote. Then when he decided not to order from them they charged him a $140 Call out fee!Apparently in the fine print there is something vague like stating if you order from there is no fee.Dad would have been happy to order from them however they were the most expensive out of four companies.EDIT * RESPONSE *It is important to clarify that our expectations were not that individuals would be providing their services without compensation, as you seem to suggest. Rather, we anticipated that individuals would honour their commitments. When my father inquired about the possibility of a call-out fee, he was explicitly informed that there would be no such fee. Therefore, changing the terminology to an FAULT FINDING FEE" can be considered misleading

I called Alkimos Plumbing and Gas at 8.25am & they had someone on my doorstep within 30mins. Hamish was clean and tidy , he completed the work quickly & helped answer a few questions about plumbing work for a future laundry Reno. Pleasure to deal with from start to finish & a reasonable price for the great service. Happy to recommend AP&G , will definitely be using their services in the future.

I sold my house last month and new owners moving in tomorrow. The gas water storage heat stopped working yesterday. Alkimos plumbing jumped on it. Replaced the heater by the end of day. Great job and good to deal with. Definitely recommend this company.

Honest, reliable and trustworthy. Alkimos plumbing were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to help us out in an emergency situation when our hot water system went. Very informative on options available to us and were very quick to arrange a new hot water system and had the technician, Bobby there to install the next day. He did a fantastic job and was quick to get it all up and running. Very impressed with the friendliness, compassion and professionalism from Alkimos Plumbing.
