Pirie st entrance has the box office (up steps), then inside are two lots of stairs to get to the actual rhino room.Down the Hyde street side, you’ll see the mural, are more entrances that take you down into the building, down stairs, for a few more smaller comedy rooms.Great vibe, lots of art to view, good bar staff, seen some good comics here, but you need to be able to cope with stairs, to get into these comedy venues.So hard to find access friendly comedy venues in adelaide.

We threw a themed party downstairs at the Lowlife basement and the team were so accomodating. We had an amazing night and all the staff were so friendly, easy going and helped make sure the night ran smoothly and however we wanted. Mick let us come in as early as we wanted to deck the space out however we liked. The guys helped us hang more lights, provided extra cables and set the lights to match the theme. Everything we asked was no hassle and they gave so many colour options ect. All the guests commented on how great the staff were and everyone had an amazing time. We didn’t have to worry about the running of the night once the guests arrived as the staff were all over it. We also came back to a completely tidy and bumped out venue after the event and all decorations and cables were organised and tidily put away for us. Great drink prices and they gave us the option for themed cocktails should we want. Would absolutely recommend this venue for a private party! Easiest and most enjoyable night ever. Great place to catch comedy at its best and live music. Mick has created a one of a kind venue spread over 2floors. He also features local artist work throughout the building without charging the 35% plus commission

Real nice venue! Spacious, had a green room, reasonably priced drinks, lovely bar staff, great setup. Well looked after here! Looking forward to more events as the world opens back up. Cheers

We’ve been to this venue twice now. Once for a comedy show, and most recently, a Drag Show. The seating, sound and lighting were great. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The bathroom is a tad dark and small. Luckily, it’s never busy!The drag performances were insanely good. Reminded me of the vogue scene in NYC. We’ll be back

Great night of funny's at the rhino room, great service & good people having a good time.....Have to update to say this year 2023, opening night of the fringe was probably the worst night outside of the presenter.... he was great! Sorry honest review from a long time rhino fan...But we will be back later in the fringe for another night... we won't let 1 bad show ruin one of our favourite places.

Superb front door security - best customer service, especially for lost property. On Sat 04 March 2023, after the Adelaide Fringe Lost In Translation show, I left the venue missing my sunglasses. I alerted the bar staff immediately after the show (they took my details but seemed preoccupied). I exited the venue afterwards, waited for the crowd to vacate, then tried to re-enter for a search between acts (Paul McDermott was next). The front of house security recognised the problem, radioed ahead, accompanied me upstairs for the search, and FOUND THE SUNGLASSES! Well done that man for listening to me, recognising the importance of the item to me, and using his initiative to hunt for the sunnies with a genuine belief they were there to be found. I left a very happy customer thanks to young mate working the door - well done, I can't thank you enough.
