Great park. It's conpletely fenced off and it has a natural reserve in the middle which creates a loop for dogs to run around. Nice vegetation, well tended lawns and usually friendly people and pooches. Only 4 stars because some owners dont pick up poop after their pets and some big boisterous dogs are left free to bully others ( even if rarely and usually later during the day).

The park itself is great for dogs, large space and plenty of areas to run. However over numerous visits I have noticed there are dogs that are untrained and not too friendly. If you do choose to take your dogs there look out for two large Irish wolfhounds owned by an older man in a white 4wd car. The dogs are another level of vicious. My golden retriever was attacked while laying down drinking water outside the park in the car park, after visiting. They caught his scent and went straight for him, while attempting to get my dog into the car quickly one attacked my dog the other went for myself resulting the owner being dragged along the gravel. After talking to other owners on the Sheidow Park community page this is not an isolated incident with these dogs and in fact the dogs and owner are banned and are often seen walking on the outskirts of the park.Just exercise caution !!

This park is so perfect for dog Parents! There is a HUGE fenced off area where your dog's can just run and play! There is chilled water provided and a good amount of shade. The other dogs and their humans are friendly.

Great large open space with bins, poo bags and water provided. Fenced off playground for young kids who remain visible while you're with your dog(s). Adequate carparking. Can be muddy in wet weather as the dogs have really ripped up the grass at the popular top end but that's the only negative.

Always great to have a safe place to take the dog for an off lead walk, play. Last time I went it was summer, hot and dry making for a very dusty play area, today the dust had turned to mud, my advice is wear suitable footwear. I think this area could be much larger to cater for the amount of large dogs visiting today

Huge area for dogs. Great for the large boisterous breeds but absolutely terrible for puppies or smaller breeds. Our poor little dog was continually harassed by numerous large dogs with very inattentive, untrained owners. Could be a great park if it had a fenced small dog area that the larger dogs couldn’t get too.

Great big park which big dogs seem to love. Our puppy however, did not enjoy being overwhelmed by rottweilers and other large breeds. The park is so big, a fenced area just for small and young dogs would be a winner.
