Highly recommend Ludo’s. Friendly service and made exactly what I wanted.

We went to Avoca Beach for a quick holiday getaway and came across this place. The coffee and croissant were really good. Also bought the seeded sourdough to take home. The bread was freshly baked, it had a wonderful crunch to the crust but inside was soft and moist. Looks like the cakes and pastries are good too but didn’t get a chance to try them. Staff were friendly too. Highly recommend this place!

I heard this place was great so I dropped in this morning and bought 6 fruit mince pies. Just wow!

Pete is the man, we have used his desserts in our establishments for years and they never dissapoint, I often claim that I make them myself they're that good.

The pastries here were delicious with a wide variety. The food were all unique and special and the staff and service was great.

We have been many times over the last 3 years. This review only covers food re coffee, croissants and pies.Service pretty good, seem to be plenty of staff and they are friendly and well trained. I sent feedback once and the owner replied promptly and professionally , always a sign of a good business. Definitely a take away business, not eat in which is fine.Our standard order was coffee and almond croissants. We ended up dropping coffees and getting them elsewhere. It’s not bad but not great, it’s not something they focus on.Love the almond croissants. They are a different style from most others and took a little while to get used to but now we love them.Pies are not bad, if you are there it’s a good choice. Like many bakery pies there is too much focus on the pastry and not enough on the filling. If I was driving somewhere to get a pie, somewhere like Pie in the Sky much better fillings.They have a huge selection of all sorts of things we haven’t tried and I’m sure these are great.Final comment is great local bakery with lots of good options and good staff, glad they are here.

Recently I got the most amazing victoria sponge cake by special order for my son's birthday as it is his favourite. Was absolutely stunning and so delicious, you could tell the cake was made with care and not pumped out of a factory. The Ludo's team was so easy to deal with. Will definitely be going back again and again, can't wait to try more of their weekly specials. Such a great family owned bakery on the coast, love supporting locals. Thank you!

Ludo's Gourmet kitchen was delightful! Peter (clearly the baker from the white hand prints on his apron) was generous and helpful, he even gave us 6 free pastries at the end of the day. Just a lovely place and great for tourists and locals, alike. Delicious, hand crafted pastry to die for! Highly recommend coming here!
