Decent vietnamese food. The best ones from those we ordered were the mekong spring rolls and the crispy skin chicken. They were cooked well and the sauces were good. The lemongrass chilli beef wasn't as fragrant or spicy as I expected it to be, and was served on a chopping board with staples in it so it was a bit off putting.

Service was terrible but the quality of the food was exceptional.Menu options came out after 10min of being seated, we asked three different staff members for water over a 15 minute period to then still have to force the issue by getting up and walking to the kitchen door and waiting.Over all the venue was saved by its excellent food however it will be going to the bottom of the list for visits for a while. Time to explore other options!

Finally visited this famous Vietnamese restaurant, the vermicelli salad, grilled meat and Vietnamese pancakes pretty good ☺️

The food is good, but the managements definitely needs to ramp it up.We were here for dinner today. We noticed the tightly packed tables when we were assigned our table. In no time, the place was full.We ordered two starters, two mains and a large portion of rice, along with two drinks. The rice never arrived. We were wanting to reorder our drinks but the staff was way too busy to check on us. It was unpleasant to eat a main by itself - while waiting on rice which is never served!When we went to pay the bill, we told the staff member that the rice was not served. He took it off the bill - without even properly acknowledging that it was a miss from their end. That was the tipping point for our disappointment.I really wish they had lesser number of tables where the staff could attend more to customers. They lost out on our second round of drinks and rice. More importantly, they lost out on repeat customers.

Favourite on this strip. Reliable quality, great service, lots of gluten free options. 30+ years and going strong. Good for lunches. Can book large tables for groups. Very popular with AFL fans for dinner or lunch before a game. Child friendly. Spring rolls very popular. Range of dishes for all palates. Good for vegans. Nice views.

This Vietnamese joint have a lot of seats and more modern interior compared to the other restaurants on Swan street. The dishes are presented well however all of them are pretty average. Their special hot and sour noodle soup turns out to be Tom yum noodles. Would recommend if you are in a big group or carrying a pram due to ample spaceFood - 4Service - 8Vibe - 7Price - $$

My family and I love eating at Tran Tran. We’ve eaten many of the dishes on the menu, and all are terrific. The staff are consistently very friendly and the atmosphere is great. It’s always an excellent experience!
