Canon Dance House

Hannah is a great dance teacher with a positive attitude. My partner and I met her with no previous dancing experience and thanks to her help we were able to pull off an absolutely amazing dance on our wedding day.

WOW what an amazing first dance routine Hannah choreographed for us!!! The routine was a year in the making and honestly the best investment we ever made. Hannah was so accommodating throughout our many postponements, and there was no one that could have done a better job of choreographing FOUR dance styles into a choreographed routine. Just left our 3rd and final dance lesson with Hannah ahead of our wedding this Friday. She choreographed us a beautiful and simple routine that was within our capabilities. Three lessons was the perfect amount for us to feel confident to master the routine. Hannah was a great teacher, very patient and a lot of fun. We are so grateful we found her at short notice. The team at Canon Dance house are amazing, I’ve never had dance lessons prior to coming it Canon Dance House and I can say that I feel super comfortable and confident that one day soon, I’ll be able to complete the full choreography. Hannah has been an absolutely fantastic dance creator/instructor and it was a pleasure working with her to get ready for our wedding day. She did well gauging our comfort levels and skill to choreograph a beautiful dance for us. She also edited the music for us too which was used on our special day. Very professional. The short version: amazing, super friendly, mapped out and taught us a wedding dance in an hour, super professional, had a fun time!After lockdown and *gestures vaguely at everything* we only had a short period of time to craft a dance to the song of our choice for our wedding. First lesson with Hannah at Canon Dance House and she had a full routine mapped out with us having the steps learnt in a single hour, I couldn't believe it.We asked to do a slow swing style to it which is probably also pretty unusual. After that we spent about 2 months just getting the steps properly timed and looking like we knew what we're doing. Hannah was super friendly, gave bits of instruction incrementally once we had fundamentals down pat and was just fantastic, made the whole thing a fun part of our week and great on the wedding night. Can't recommend highly enough!

Hannah is a great teacher who has the skills and experience to see your potential and work with your strengths to create and develop the best dancer you can be. We absolutely loved our wedding dance classes at Canon Dance House.
