Such an amazing old and very ornate building. You really feel you are some where special. Curved seating arrangements means everyone has a great view of the stage area.

Went to see a Ballet! The venue was great! Jam packed with people that all seemed excited and happy to be there. The bar offers your basic drinks! However, the catering side leaves much to be desired. You can't enter the theatre with food and, that might be the reason why food is not a big thing here.Otherwise, I liked it! I thought the theatre design was pretty smart too.

A beautiful heritage building both internally & externally! The renovations to the balcony & other sections are wonderful. Truly a cultural icon of Perth & an incredible venue to see performances.

Ah, His Majesty's Theatre, a veritable bastion of the performing arts. Upon entering its august halls, one cannot help but be struck by the grandeur of the architecture - a testament to a bygone era of opulence and refinement. But alas, dear reader, my visit to this esteemed establishment was marred by the most lamentable of circumstances. Despite my utmost enthusiasm for the performance, my viewing experience was gravely hindered by the woeful quality of my seats.Nestled in the uppermost reaches of the theatre, my companion and I were doomed to occupy the worst seats in the house - seats 30 and 31, if memory serves. From this lofty perch, we were unable to fully appreciate the stage, as half of it was hidden from our sight. It was as though we were watching a play through a scrim, with key moments of the performance forever shrouded in mystery.I implore the management of His Majesty's Theatre to consider the plight of those who are forced to occupy such inadequate seats. They should not be allowed to sell tickets to these areas, for it is an injustice to both the performers and the audience. In conclusion, while His Majesty's Theatre is a beautiful building, I must sadly report that my experience was marred by the subpar quality of my seats. Let this serve as a cautionary tale to those who may be considering purchasing tickets to the upper reaches of the theatre.

Haven't been to His Majesty's for so long. I love the renovations, being able to go out onto the balcony outside at interval with a glass of preordered champers. We went to see The Mousetrap which we saw in London 26 years ago. This play was just as good as the one in London and being at such a venue really complimented the play. Great day out.

What an absolute delight to spend time in this beautiful venue enjoying the arts.It really does feel like you are surrounded by the city and its surrounds when you spot the Theatre along your way, all lit in its splendour.I never tire of the Performances and indeed cannot wait to attend again soon.

Bit squished in our seat's and no leg room but loved the atmosphere and the play. Parking is handily nearby. Suggest changing the WC facilities so there's no long line for the women, while the men's is empty. I might not be a millennial or even a z gen but I have no problem with unisex toilets, they're uni at home anyway...either way I'd be escorting young children in regardless.
