I have been here for a special dinner with my partner and we loved every single meal.Really nice and warm service and, on top of that a great selection of wines.We loved the halloumi with date and figs, and the Romania dip was excellent.

What a magical place!Set in beautiful gardens this cosy restaurant has so much heart. We dined out on the deck over looking the gardens and were visited by colourful birds. Such a serene environment. Made even better by the delicious food! It was mouth watering. The local beers and wines were a great touch and the friendliness of the staff and warmth of the owner made us never want to leave. We enjoyed the food do much, we almost forgot to take a photo!

Amazing authentic food, delicious and made with love.The trio of dips are unique and different options than most restaurantsI also ordered Mosakhan which is chicken cooked with onion and that was just over the moon amazingThe beer is also fresh there from the brewery

Such a gem for middle East crusine within the forest. Not only food are authentically cooked and presented, the serveware also very authentic. Their garden is just fantastic. Lots of pretty plants and flowers. Perfect to enjoy food if sit outdoor. Indoor have 2 comfortable and beautiful sofa seats, as well as few tables. Perfect to enjoy afternoon tea with friends or family. Plenty of authentic middle East dessert. Sage tea is their traditional tea, super nice to enjoy and keep me warm. Makloubeh is my favorite. Not only rice taste and cooked traditionally, the eggplant and chicken are very soft and full of flavors. This is a dinner menu, but I asked to order at lunch. My next recommendation is soup if the day with homemade bread. The bread is made to order. Very fresh and soft. Can dip inside the soup or just eat it by itself. Few big tables outdoor. Plenty of parking outside. This is in fact is part of accommodation. Staff are very friendly. Will definitely come back when nearby.

A spectacular place, lovely service, and very authentic, high quality, filling food. Strongly recommend you “trust Dar Tera” when you order, as the chef is lovely and is just waiting for the opportunity to come out and sort out just the right food and drink for your group. Based on my experiences growing up with a middle eastern and Arab family, and exploring those places in my travels, this is a very authentic and brilliant quality experience.

Unexpected stop in Forrest, noticed some red umbrellas out the front and what can I say, everything happens for a reason. We've had some great food while enjoying our stay in Melbourne but this has by far been our favourite experience yet!Amazing options for Gluten & Dairy free.Outstanding food & coffeeGenuine & helpful staff.Stunning gardens and vibe.10/10 , whenever we come to Vic , Dar Teta will be on our list
