Kon has a good knowledge about what he does. I went to a lot of repairers before coming here, nobody diagnosed the real problem. Some asked me to replace the transmission. But Kon was able to fix my transmission for a fair price.

Have always been very pleased with all our family car services, troubleshooting, inspections and general maintenance through Kon and Auto Trans over the last 20 years. Generally great. Unfortunately he was on holidays for a further 6 weeks. After a deserved holiday, he's back on board. Super efficient, reliable, honest bloke that is reasonably priced too. Been coming here for about 10 years with multiple cars. Simply the best!

Huge thank you to Kon at Auto Trans!Last Monday and much to my frustration, my relatively late model car with comparatively low km’s (and out of warranty) suffered a serious automatic transmission failure!Panic-stricken and fearing the worst having made a few phone calls that suggested I could be up for many many thousands of dollars, I showed up to Kon’s workshop unannounced after a recommendation from a mate. He was in the middle of a job, but was kind enough to quickly run a few quick diagnostics, and was helpful in suggesting a few “cross-checks” to ensure the problem was correctly identified. So off to Hamspstead Auto Electrical, who were also really accommodating, but sadly it became clearer it was definitely the trans!So I left the car with Kon, who then called me a couple of hours later with a plan of attack and a quote (which at that stage was somewhat of unknown as no one knew the extent of damage).In under a week (which was quick given a part had to be ordered from Melbourne), I received a call from Kon to say my car was ready.On time, on budget, and the car’s transmission has never been smoother!!Can’t thank this guy enough, my car is crucial to my job, and the honesty and professionalism was ABSOLUTELY first class.Cannot recommend Kon and “Auto Trans” at Hampstead Gardens highly enough! A refreshingly honest and super knowledgeable guy who deserves every success.Thank you.

I’ve known Kon at AutoTrans for 10+ year and he’s repaired major failures and performed regular maintenance on 4 cars over that time. He’s a straight talker, gets the job done on time and at an honest price. Most recently I took my Peugeot 208 in for a fluid change and general tune up not expecting a world of improvement, but was pleasantly surprised how drastically smoother and tighter the gear changes are now. Made the car feel like new again.
