I was referred onto New Magic when lodging a support ticket with Blackmagic regarding some issues I was having with my Resolve Licence Dongle and compatibility with modern setups.The response was quick, but I was a little troubled by the reply I got when trying to navigate what I though would be a pretty standard help ticket. When I asked for the rational behind the decision, I got a pretty short, condescending response in response which ignored the context of my query and previous info I gave regarding the technical trouble I was having. Both companies need to get with the times and understand that the needs of their users will change as technology does. I also asked for this feedback to be passed onto the parent company, which I am pretty sure was ignored.As it stands, you're much better served avoiding this company as well as Blackmagic software products until they update their policies regarding physical licences and their customer service practices.

Incredible service and amazing fast turn around time including shipping! These guys are absolutely awesome with communication and even better with their attention to detail. After putting in a support claim for my 6K Pro on Blackmagics website, to dropping of my device and having a new one returned, occurred all within 72 hours. Brendan is also super fantastic and really knowledgeable, hats off, rare to find great experiences like this these days, especially when it can be very annoying when cameras don't work properly and you depend on them. Thanks Brendan and team!
