I got a spontaneous idea after the hike to get my hair cut in Katoomba. I did some google searches. Chris Wolf has good reviews and was open till 6 pm. I gave them a ring and got an appointment 3 hours later. I felt a little weird as there was no mirror in front of the chair like another hairdresser. I didn't ask for a name, but my hairdresser was a lovely woman with very short hair. I showed her some photos, explaining how I don't like my fridge and how I would like to get my hair cut. She listened carefully, and I'm happy with the results, even the price of $65. If I am not moving out of Sydney next month, I would be back, once thank you

Chris and staff are amazing. Chris is genuine hair dresser who is so gifted in his profession. And the young lady who shampooed and massaged my scalf you have amazing hands felt so relaxed, Chris made me feel so good about myself . Lately I was letting myself go . But new hair style made me feel so good inside .

I noticed that a couple of other people had a similar experience, so I thought I would express my experience. I am new to Australia and driving in Australia. I had a little bit of difficulty finding parking and I was seven minutes late for my appointment. I walked into the salon and immediately apologized. It is very unlike me to ever be late. In fact, I always like to be a few minutes early. After my apology, not a word was spoken. I was at the salon for 2 1/2 hours approximately and Chris did not speak to me I mentioned that the friend who referred me to him said hello, and he did not respond. It was a very awkward and cold experience. My family urged me not to return for another appointment after the way I was treated. I felt as if I were a toddler being punished for having done something bad. Getting a cold shoulder is a form of abuse. I was quite stunned by the experience.Chris, In response to your response, you were actually late for my first appointment with you. Your salon scheduled me for 9:30 consultation and you didn’t show until around 9:50. My experience has nothing to do with how busy you are or aren’t, it’s about treating your clients with dignity and respect. Again, I was only 7 minutes late and I had immediately apologized. You gave me zero response and did not speak to me for nearly 3 hours. If my being 7 minutes late, jeopardized your day, you could have simply offered to highlight less of my hair. I would have agreed to that in a heartbeat.I tried to engage with you a couple of times and you literally ghosted me. I watched as you said hello and goodbye to other patrons. I watched as those around me were offer tea, I was not. I watched as they enjoyed their tea and conversation with you and others. It felt so abusive and dismissive, I was nearly in tears. Your treatment of me was deplorable. One star is generous considering how harshly you treated me.

Amazing Katoomba hairdresser. I had not cut my hair in 14 years and frankly the state of my hair was an insult to hairdressing. Yet I was made feel welcome, the fact that this was a big moment was acknowledged but the mood was still light and lovely. Got a nice cup of tea, no judgement, and a very decent price for the amount of work and expertise. Awesome skills, lovely service, highly recommend.

I had my first colouring with Caitlin yesterday and I would have to say that it’s the best foil highlighting I have had in my long years.

Chris and his team are the best! If looking for the best cut or colour possible, don't go elsewhere.They are booked months in advance so getting in on short notice will not happen but I highly recommend getting in when possible and locking down future appointments, you will not be disappointed

Being Chris’s client from the first year he opened his salon, did my bridal hair with Chris, always showed support where I could, and recommended his work to others.But today, I have never being more disappointed! Turned away because I was 10mins late for a cut, not even a trim! His lack of flexibility has and will always be his weakness in the service he provides!!
