Friendly service, food was fantastic, we called ahead on our way thru, food was ready as I walked in, will definitely make it our stop when traveling thru

Driving from Melbourne to Swan Hill (accompanied by two dogs), you get to a point where you need to stop for a coffee, a snack and clear the smell from the car. Marong General Store provided a welcoming stop, food break and a coffee that did the job. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Will always remember the experience and make it a stop point for future journeys. Thanks to the wonderful team at Marong General Store.

Food under cooked and new owners have no idea how to cook when you have the only takeaway shop in marong you really want to know how to cook and serve top quality food to your customers

Good customer service but hate to complain I ordered $38 worth off fish and chips the dim sims were under cooked and very squishy aswell how ever they were very busy but if you can't maintain quality then the call should be made to close the shop sadly disappointed I think this shop has just bitten off way more then they can chew doing fish and chips aswell as pizza would like a full refund off the meal but not even going to bother trying as if they can't give a replacement pizza then don't think they will do a refund for poor quality sh** !

Customer for 6 years weekly, always order the same pizza each week since pizza hit the menu. Always beautiful and not spicy. Tonight it was spicy. I called to let them know and ask if I could please have a replacement. I was told they would call back and let me know. When I didn’t hear I called them and was greeted with a ‘she can f’in wait’ before the hello came over the phone line. When I re-explained the issue, I was told they used mild pepperoni on our pizza, to which I re-explained that pizza I received was definitely spicy. I was told it definitely could not have been and that our pizza would not be replaced, in a very rude manner.Long term customer lost
