Big Bear Academy St Andrews

Perfect, is the only word I can use to describe Big Bear Academy at St Andrews. My daughter has well and truly come out of her shell whilst attending this preschool, I couldn't be happier.Everyone is so attentive and well suited to their positions. The Director's, Andrew and Maxine are very approachable and have assisted greatly with any queries often going out of their way to let me know of any concerns with my daughters development. You are really made to feel like part of the family.We have been fortunate enough to experience Big Bear Christmas Party, Easter hat parade to Mother's Day and Fathers Day. And many other special days though out the year from a range of cultures.My advise, Enrole now you will not be disappointed.

My daughter started at Big Bear Academy as I unexpectedly started a new job.The application process was easy and so was the orientation.My daughter loved it from day 1 which surprised me as she is normally very clingy. No tears on drop off, and so many smiles on pick up.She loved all the activities, and I loved all the daily updates.One of her favourite things was the food given. Someday she would tell me she had seconds because the food was so yummy.All the staff are so friendly and lovely. They were always there if I had any questions. They also answered emails very promptly.We only left as my daughter started big school, which was also made better as they helped with school transitioning.We miss you all so much!

I can not recommend highly enough. From the moment you enter, the centre has a sense of warmth; providing a welcoming and supportive environment. I had concerns for my 3yr old sons separation anxiety, and the staff worked with me to prepare orientations and group activities centred around activities that he would engage in and enjoy. Day 2 was no tears, all smiles, I still can’t believe it! The centre has a large focus on educational based activities and school readiness - something I had not been focusing on yet at home. My son will thrive at this centre and I am so grateful for the positive environment balanced with educational focus.

I highly recommend this childcare. Although this centre is new, but the educators are so professional and responsible. I like Maxine, the centre leader, she is so nice and patient and she is organized to manage everything. My son like the staff and his friends. He will finish his time in childcare but I’m sure he won’t forget them

My daughter started childcare with the Big Bear academy last year and we are continuing this year. They are professional, caring, clean. Less than six month my daughter can write all the alphabets, number up to 20 , also her name. The moment we try to drop her at the centre she is excited to join. A big thank you to Miss Maxine, Mr.Andrew , Miss Shannon and all the lovely educators for their hard work.

I have spent a very long time searching for a centre that will support, nurture and care for my daughter the way she deserves, and I am so glad to say we have found that place in Big Bear Academy, St Andrews!She is excited to attend, she has learnt and grown so much already and we are very privileged to get updates on Xplor during the day and daily recaps with photos.This centre and its staff have been so amazing from the first phone call, they are inclusive and we love everything they are about and encourage. We appreciate that our daughter has the opportunity to attend this great place.Very clean, tidy and newly renovated.

Big Bear Academy St Andrews has been an absolute godsend for our family. Our 4 year old has been attending for a little over a month, and we can already see how much he has learned, and how comfortable and at home he feels. This is all thanks to the wonderful care he has received from all of the lovely educators, and amazing owners, Maxine and Andrew.Everything from the educational experiences, to the food, to the regular updates and observations are done with such care and attention, making it evident how much the centre values its families and children.I would have no hesitation in recommending Big Bear Academy, and they should be commended for creating such a warm and nurturing environment where children are respected and truly treated as part of a family.
