The New Tang Restaurant Bar KTV
My broad noodles were still not cooked. It requires extra cooking time. A friend had to ask them to cook it for longer for them. The laksa soup base is lacking coconut milk in my friends' opinion. I had the Sichuan soup and I don't think it's authentic at all, feel like the base is a bit thick and not spicy enough. We got the Malathang option. The staff is nice, helpful and friendly though.

Recently visited during their grand opening. Great service and loved the large variety of options that were available. Their decor is super fun and loved the individual pots rather than having a large one to share. They have heaps of different meats and seafood options too. Loads of options in terms of soup base. Would recommend others to give this place a try. It’s quite similar to legend hotpot in Burwood just minus the drinks.

Great Service and the Tom Yum base soup I had was fantastic. Great variety of food available and it was fresh. Went with my family of 4 The kids really enjoyed having their own pot and cooking the foods themselves. We tried 4 different soup base and it was all very tasty. Definitely will come back with friends. Worth the value.

Service was nice but the price for hotpot is more expensive than other hotpot buffet in the same area and no desert.And the pricing for karaoke is way too expensive. We paid only $7/hour per person even in CBD area, you can even hire a room for 2-3 people and you only pay for per head but The Tang charge $80/hr for a room of upto 8 (fix price). I wouldn't recommend the karaoke here.

My boyfriend and I shared the Tom yum soup base MLT and it was massive! While they offer a variety of soup base options (like oxtail bone and laksa), they don’t appear to offer the OG spicy mala soup base. I liked the DIY sauce station and the overall interior design of the restaurant. A bit pricey relative to the hotpot option and it isn’t in my top 5 MLT joints.

Had an amazing experience here, wanted to eat yumcha but I was happily surprised by the recent change, hotpot! Came with family and we loved the friendly and welcoming service from the staff and the variety of food! Loved the seafood especially, definitely recommending this to all my friends..

The New Tang Restaurant Bar KTV
Recently came and tried their hotpot buffet for dinner with a group of friends. Great service and loved the huge variety of options that were available from meat to seafood and all different kinds of veggies. There were so many different soup base to choose from definitely need to come back again to try out. The newly renovated deco is so cool and funky which gives such vibrant atmosphere. Would strongly recommend others to give this place a try.

Worst restaurant I have ever been to. The food is so old and has a gross smelly aftertaste.Not edible and over price. Never again.
