These pies are worthy of legendary status. We stopped by on a Saturday and picked up a chunky steak and pepper pie. So, so good. The chunky steak actually has huge chunks and the pepper pie is was absolutely delicious. A real pepper taste that had you salivating at every bite. The pies are made on-site and clearly are made with love. I overheard that these are the legendary pies from Sarina that have now made their way to Mackay. Do yourself a solid and get in line for one.

Have just arrived in Mackay for the day, saw this pie shop and decided to try one, I got a cheese and bacon pie that had just come out of the oven, what can I say it’s one if the best pies I have had in a while, the pastry was cooked all over including the bottom nice and crispy, the filling was tasty heaps of cheese and bacon and it stayed together while eating. A very busy place, will definitely be back.

Good food, but unreliable. Seems to be closed a lot. I will not drive across town to go here again after being screwed around 3 times.
