Treated my son and I with the greatest empathy and compassion before, during and after the sad euthanasia of our beloved Jack Russell (Russell). Can’t recommend them enough.

We chose this place based on reviews and also gut feeling.Bear with me here. We had previously booked another vet clinic to do a neutering for our chihuahua, Arnie. Soon thereafter we encountered some minor issues and a negative gut feeling, so we decided to cancel the operation with them. This other vet was so rude, he actually cussed us out and then hung up on us! (I mean, it's no wonder why you're not getting business, dude!)This turned out to be a blessing because we found Abbottsbury!We had a great feeling about them and it turned out to be spot on. We had a very smooth operation with wonderful aftercare and well-explained instructions for us. 12 days later we had Arnie's stitches removed which was free of charge, no appointment necessary. While we were there, I mentioned to them that he has had some fairly painful stomach issues for the last 3 days and that we were worried because he's been in a lot of pain and not pooing right. Normally you'd to book an appointment but the vet was kind enough to pop in for a brief moment when the stitches were removed to check Arnie out, without appointment and free of charge. I am so very grateful to them for taking such good care of my littles, and will absolutely be going back!Also the prices are reasonable which just makes them that much better.Thank you so much Abbottsbury for caring, for TRULY caring about our loved ones. It means the world to us.

Very disappointed with Abbotsbury vet. I had called up and informed them my dogs nipple was infected and that he had a rash. I was told they were booked out for the day (which is understandable). The receptionist, Irene told me that she would get a vet to look at the rash and infected nipple if I sent in photos to their email. Which I did. A while later she called me and asked me to send in photos, which I already had and she said oh I forgot I had already asked you to send them in. She said she would get a vet to look at them and call me back. I waited till 6pm and still no call. Tried calling for the next two day from when they opened and no response. Very disappointed. Fortunately his rash has gone away.

Staff here are fantastic. They love what they do and will love your pets too! Very caring and good prices. Highly recommended

Receptionist was incredibly rude. Called to see if there was availability for a surgery for my 10 year old border collie suffering from pyometra. Cut me off when I was explaining her history and said nothing available till March. Disgusting to not have compassion in this line of work. Unfortunate if this takes away from the great service the vets provide.

A caring and supportive team who genuinely strive to give the best possible commitment to both the animals and their families. Dr Patricia is total dedicated and professional. We have been going to the clinic for many years and are always welcomed by the friendly staff. Always grateful.

Would give a 0 if i could, was once a good vet, now you have a super grumpy and angry receptionist and some vet nurses who look like they are there just for a pay-check, i feel sorry for the old staff that are there it must be hard but there isn't many left.The new staff look like they dont care one bit and the receptionist doesn't have any clue about animals or how to speak to people with compassion or empathy. Not sure were the more happier lady has gone but she was 100x better.The place changes vets more than i change undies these days so i would possibly be looking to go somewhere else if you want a consistent vet and not 1+ hour waits every time you visit.

The vets and team are always lovely and extremely competent. We have been very lucky to have them as our local vet looking after our furry loved ones for more than 20 years.

Didn't get an appointment here, they were booked out.The lady I spoke to was Irene and she was super friendly, very helpful with so many suggestions.Irene gave me great advice and support with my two resuced kittens I caught as they were dumped.This vet was extremely willing to help and so caring.I'm sure I will visit here in the near future.Irene took the time to chat with me, in my book this is what you need and expect from a vet clinic.Fantastic advice and care.

Friendly & welcoming: Hassle free online booking prior to arrival. Would definitely recommend. Parking easy also.
