I’ll go out of my way to get my turmeric latte from here, and eggs Benny. The lattes are delicious and served with cinnamon (like they should be), and the Hollandaise doesn’t taste like mayonnaise! Win

A friend of mine and I decided to meet here after work earlier today around 4pm. We chose this cafe/restaurant based on the assumption that the kitchen opened late because when we'd googled their opening hours, it stated 8:30pm for close. Yet we got there and found out that the kitchen had closed. That much was our fault for assuming they'd still be making food based on googled hours instead of checking ahead.Nevertheless, the man that served us at the register was so lovely and graciously still had small meal options they were able to make for us. The food was great and so was my coffee, hence the three stars.However, although I'd like to praise them simply for their coffee, one girl did not have the best customer service. As she was clearing our table, she kept reiterating that they were closing soon - we felt rushed to finish up quite early on in our stay because of this and that was a little unnecessary, we got the message the first time. She even stood there and waited for me to finish my drinks (bit of coffee and a full cup of water) despite the fact that I had said sorry I'm still going with these" she responded with "well we really need to put the dishes through so can I just take that and put it in a take away cup for you or something" which she never did by the way

The experience was definitely disappointing. If you have a need to waste time and money than this is the place to go. The cafe was less than one third full and it took 45 minutes for the coffee and 55 minutes for the food, by then the food was cold and inedible. On two instances we asked for updates from wait staff and both times no one bothered to even come back to us. We left more than half of the food on the plate as either cold or sub standard. They really need to get their standards up if they are going top survive.

Haven’t been here in a while, but after my experience today, I won’t be returning. Counter was left unstaffed, with three staff making eye contact and carrying on with meaningless tasks like wiping benches and chatting to one another, whilst intentionally ignoring waiting customers. When I was finally served there was no hello, no smile and no apology for the wait.. I was left feeling overwhelmingly that these smug individuals consider customers should feel privileged to be there. Management is solely to blame for sloppy staff and lack of customer service.

This used to be a great place but I think they have a new chef. The food was revolting. My pancakes were burned, the break was soaked in butter and mushy. The coffee was great but the chef is terrible. 0/10. Do not recommend!

Friendly staff, nice menu. Had a great BLT, one of the best. BLTs are one of my favourites. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Cafe was clean with no tables showing the signs of departed guests. A big no-no imo.

5 stars for the Chef and the best customer service in Kenmore. The big breakfast is beautiful especially with the tomato relish which takes it all to a whole new level. The eggs benedict with salmon on Turkish bread was the best I have ever had and the poached eggs were perfect and plenty of hollandaise sauce. Enjoyed the pot of English breakfast tea. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you so much Olivia and John

I love this place. The owners are so friendly and hard working. The staff are courteous and efficient. Sometimes while trialing new staff there were a couple of hiccups. That’s always going to be the case.I have been caught out with early closing too - but with Covid staff shortages etc it’s hardly their fault. It’s up to us to be understanding I think.I love the choice of inside or outside tables. Plenty of space so it’s easy to properly distance. The food is excellent - Vege Breakfast, Vege Burgers and Haloumi Burgers are my faves (and I’m not even vegetarian). Chips good. Coffee good.
