Spring Bluff is a lovely place to visit all year round i.e. not just during the Carnival of Flowers. Yes, it comes alive with colour, but if you're into big trees, grassy green spaces, a couple playgrounds for the little ones and an old dance hall/stage (a short walk up the hill), then this is a place for you. There are also a couple of bushwalks to be done with some stunning views in the golden light of the setting sun.You may also see a freight train too!

Beautiful little spot. We went for a walk up the hill and back and then just sat in the shade admiring the gardens.

OMG! The tears were flowing when we visited this place. It's one of the happy memories I have as a child. I used to visit with my father and we even had picnics here. Was thrilled to see its still being maintained. If you go to, or even through Toowoomba, do yourself a favour and take the small detour. You won't regret it.

Spring Bluff is always a great place to visit whether it's solo or with family, friends or coworkers. As a support worker I've taken many clients that enjoy the outdoors and trains to spring bluff. I myself have driven there and just sat back and taken in the serenity of the place.

One of the nicest places I’ve been too. So remote, beautiful and fresh. Just sensational. I will be back again.

We visited Spring Bluff station during the flower festival. No wonder it is named as the most beautiful train station. It is 15 mins drive from the Toowoomba city. It is free and plenty of car parking spaces. There is no entry fee. It is well designed but need to be careful with crossing the rail lines as there are times that train may be passing through the station. There is play ground area, toilet facility and picnic area. Good place to visit.

Picturesque location of well kept historical train station and grounds. Main carpark and platform level is suitable for wheelchair / limited mobility with wheelchair friendly toilets. Levels of park and playground extend up the hill including picnic, bbq facilities playground and more toilets. A short 20 minute nature walk which we didn't have time to explore at the top of the park. Giant game of checkers on site and small basketball half court. No cafe in operation which may have kept crown numbers down. There is a lower carpark for busier days. No trains running or passing when we visited (Saturday midday), however I've been told it is magnificent when they do. We accessed via Murphy's Creek and then gained the top of the range near Higfields. Great scenic adventure.
