The beginner workshop with Matt at the Zoo is fantastic! Matt is very good at explaining things in a way that is easy to understand. I learnt a lot and highly recommend Matt’s workshops. I’ll definitely be attending another one!

I joined a beginner photography workshop with Matt at the zoo yesterday and it was fantastic! He explained everything in a way that really easy to understand and was very approachable if there were any questions from the group. Very friendly guy, very knowledgeable and helpful! I learned so much. Would highly recommend Matt’s workshop to anyone starting out with a good camera.

I did the Melbourne Zoo beginners workshop last weekend - Matt is a great teacher, gave really practical and accessible tips and I've come away with a new passion for taking my camera places! Will definitely look into doing more workshops with Matt. Highly recommended!

Matt was extremely knowledgeable and down to earth which made the workshop run smoothly.The group size was perfect and it seemed like Matt was able to help each person in the group gain more knowledge not only with photography in general but even tips on each persons specific camera set up.Loved the notes and easy to understand explanations.Would highly recommend to anyone considering doing a photography workshop!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Beginners Workshop at the Melb Zoo and I now have much more confidence in using Program mode settings on my camera. Matt explained concepts clearly and there was plenty of time to put theory into practice. Definitely recommend this course.

Had a fabulous week participating in Matt’s May 2023 Bright Bootcamp. Matt was on constant weather-watch to ensure we made the most of all the weather conditions - sun, rain, snow, fog - thrown at us during the week, resulting in some fabulous photo opportunities. He has extensive knowledge of all major camera systems (mine is Fuji), which I found very helpful and he worked hard to ensure that there was a good balance between teaching, practice and feedback. I highly recommend the experience in this beautiful part of Victoria. Matt also makes a mean carbonara. What more could you want!
