Riverbend is a Brisbane institution, that all book lovers should visit at least once!! They always have a wide selection of books and the staff are super helpful. I picked up the latest Wilbur Smith children's book. In the past I have attended here for book talks which are really well run. I would encourage you to sign up to their newsletter so you are aware of any upcoming events because they're always doing something interesting in their literary area. Thank you Suzy and the Riverbend team for such an awesome shop.

The Riverbend Book Subscription service is just amazing. The staff pick the most brilliant books and I've yet to receive one I didn't love. Best part is they have all been books I would never think to pick myself so I have discovered so many new authors and stories. Highly recommended no matter where you are in Australia.

I drove all the way from the Gold Coast to take my daughter to the café to have the Bread and Butter Pudding for her breakfast!! Needless to say pregnancy does that.What a lovely surprise it was. I had the Petite Parisienne Breakfast which was a winner for me. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. It has a perfect atmosphere.I did not dare to browse extensively in the bookshop being a bookworm myself, but it looks like a winner with something for everyone. I really liked the selection of children's books.

One of the rare bookshops left in our area. Always can find something I'm looking for. If they don't have it, they'll order it for you. Great service and ambience with a coffee shop to meet up with a friend or two.

Always amazing service. This gem was the first book store I found after moving from Melbourne in 2021 and I have now ordered more than 8 books through them. They are great with communication and sending out emails to let you know when your order has arrived. I love that the ladies in this store will always help if you are looking for a particular item.Best part about the store is the Book of the Week" and I enjoy seeing the different suggestions. I would like to see more in the poetry section but I will continue to keep ordering for the poetry books I enjoy.There is a coffee store attached to the front of the store so it makes it very convenient to grab a hot drink and settle on into a good book."

Not just a shop but an experience- staff are knowledgeable and can help with your selection. They wrap books beautifully - always a treat to go in and hard not to leave without a purchase!
