Would not recommend if you are young or female!!! Took my car in for a pink slip, they had it over an hour and told me it needed over 1k of work before they could certify it roadworthy. I took it straight to another mechanic who not only gave me the pink slip in under 10 mins, but also assessed the work" needed and pointed out that someone had disconnected one of my lights

Brought in my van before a long road trip. 1 hour later van broke down on side of road and engine no longer started. Work performed by Redback (new suspension, oil change, new back brakes, etc.) all works sweet and rides well.*update* - turns out it was an electrical issue and was not related to the work performed on the engine in any way. Just one of those coincidences. Steve was very understanding over the phone, tried to give advice as best he could and is now having another look at my carburator for no charge. Spent over 4 hours working and fiddling with my engine and carburator to get it as good as it can get. Review stars thus updated to take this into account. Honest, decent and hard working bloke. Really goes out of his way to help out where he can, and it shows. Highly recommended and trusted!

By far the best and most considerate qualified blue slip mechanics I've dealt with. They were very patient and helpful with the registration process of a heavily modified vehicle of mine. They took time to assist in some rather laborious engineering paperwork and were polite and constructive throughout the whole process.

Excellent Customer Service. Went above and beyond to accommodate the drop off and pickup around my work schedule. Did an awesome job on my vehicle despite its age and model. Highly recommended.

We had our car turned into them a few weeks ago, we had further issues with the car and they fixed it, no complaints. Just great genuine customer service.

I highly recommend these guys. Excellent service they didn't try and charge for quote witch every other machanic iv been to has.they did all kinds of tests and pretty much fixed my car witch hasn't run right since I brought it.iv been to 5 or 6 difrent mechanics that want 120 a hour to find the problem then 120 hour to fix it.redback did their best to have my car back asap.its hard to find a good reliable and honest machanic and the guys at redback are certainly honest and they are the nicest people to deal with.dont bother looking around and taking risks with machanic go strait to these guys you won't regret it.instead of leaving stressed and not knowing what to do i left happy and confident I found a good honest machanic.thanks heaps all at redback I feel a big weights been lifted off my shoulders.

Excellent,honest mechanic. Good pricing. Nice clean workshop. Steve has been very helpful from day 1 with my car. I have been chasing issues with my ford xr6 turbo for years. Steve has suggested things to fix, rather than just take my money on a guess" that it will work

These guys are great, highly recommended. Very friendly, really helped me out with the blueslip requirements for my unregistered paseo project, didn't ever talk down to me (unlike some other places in the area) and will definitely be going to these guys for future needs.

Bloke tried to charged me 2k for $180 worth of work. Bloke will try to point out the tiniest things and deem parts to be unroadworthy and need to be replaced straight away. This company implies high labour pay on part installations for something that took me 30 minutes to do with minimal mechanical knowledge. Avoid these guys at all costs
