Chemist Warehouse Ipswich Central

Had a terrible experience yesterday. That was extremely upsetting Always one girl that is always so abrupt and rude, and you know who you are.. It started months ago when she screamed out across the store not to take the cap off a lipstick.. I saw that others had their caps/ lids off so I didn’t think anything of it . I apologised & felt bad that I had mad the mistake. I then preceded to tell her next time that happens please approach the customer instead of yelling it out across the store. I was so embarrassed & belittled that she had yelled it out so loudly .Now every time I visit the store she is rude, cold & abrupt to me..So yesterday I asked her for a wipe to us in the cosmetic section . She abruptly gave me a wipe like I was being a nuisance, when she came back, I politely said can someone else serve me please. Well with that she said I’m sick of you being rude to me. And then I decided I would defend myself.. An argument irrupted & I got thrown out of the store because I was yelling !! May I truthfully say that I have been coming to the south street chemist for 5 years and I have never ever been treated so rudely by any other staff member..They are always so friendly & helpful….Hope she is accountable for actions as an employee. Because I went away so shaken & upset that I was not even listened too..I Will find out your name & go further with this horrible encounter.You have a very mean demeanour, you never smile, nor do speak kindly..And you saying you’ve never had this problem with customers. I find that hard to believe, usually customers don’t like conflict or confrontation, and walk away when some one is rude. You just haven’t met someone like me that will not stand for such horrific treatment.

I avoid this Chemist Warehouse as much as possible. Its cramped with stock up high so as a short human I find it hard to reach things I want to purchase. This would be difficult in a wheelchair, not only the height of products but lack of aisle space.Yes access is ok with gradient floors to facilitate all abilities and automatic doors.There is never an occasion where there is no stock on the floor, ladders or boxes to trip over, always frustrating coming here.They do have the best selection of make-up in the area and although I prefer their spacious sister store in West Ipswich, I come here when the other store has sold out of products I'm trying to source.If you need customer service the staff here are helpful and counter service is always friendly.Hard to navigate and hard to find stuff but it's cheap and well stocked.

Slowest service I've ever encountered. Waited over 40mins for a prescription.

I'm so disappointed in this store I will not be coming back,i was with my mum the other day and there's always this one chick that is quite rude to her. Mum stuck up for her self and ask for another girl to service her, maybe raised her voice a little bit to much but so did the worker then the manager got involved and kicked my mum out of the store. Which was not called for maybe train your workers to not be rude.You have lost 2 customers.

Bigger isles than most Chemist warehouses. Service was really slow though, took ages for my subscription to be filled.

Very bad customer service by a pharmacist up the back, dark lady she was, very rude, just assumed things didnt call me to the counter to ask if that's what i wanted, couldn't understand her as she dosent have good English, very smug, very disappointing when its my local. Why have people working at a chemist that cant speak English properly and are rude to us aussies, what a nerve.

Employee’s seem be treated with disrespect and are no trusted by owner or manager , even new staff poor treatment who are new and still no understand of workplace . So do not come here, very bad environment

Poor customer service, was just on the phone to the pharmacy here. The lady kept talking over the top of me. Then hung up on me as I was still talking. Very rude. Never going back there after that.

I was always happy with the staff from Chemist Warehouse but today I met the best one ever! Amelia was sooo helpful, lovely and kind. Thank you Amelia, you made my day! Helena (from Brazil)
