Smart Cookies Early Learning Centre Sefton

Started my son with Smart Cookies last year and haven’t had any issues, all the staff are friendly and genuinely care for the children. My son loves the educators and looks forward to attending each week! Keep up the fantastic work guys looking forward to enrolling my daughter for the new year.

This centre is below average and shouldn’t be looking after children. It’s dirty, they are in organised. Very quick to take your money. Charge extra for your kids to play sports. Make the days 11 hours because they KNOW CCS only covers 10 hours a day so that last hour you have to pay FULL FEE which goes directly to them. The centre is dirty, cheap. And the staff are arrogant, rude and unprofessional. I’m glad we found a better centre for my child

Smart Cookies is such a kind and caring childcare service. Children are supported and encouraged to learn, grow and enjoy their time there! The Director is an absolute pleasure to deal with.

We had our 3 yr old boy booked in for 2 weeks, paid the $450 deposit.gave notice at our other daycare and the day before he was due to start the owner rang and said sorry we have just realised that someone else paid there deposit before you and there is no longer a spot available for him.She was blunt, rude and unprofessional!!I would never recommend this daycare tbh I think just to look at was well below the standards a daycare should be.

If I can rate this centre a zero I would i dont understand why parents have rated 5 stars to this place.... I was a parent at this centre for a very long time everyone is entitled to the truth and a review it started off great felt very at home until suddenly they hire one educator who was very verbally and physically abusive towards the children if you want your children sent to the military or to suffer from trauma and stress by all means send them to this centre the director thinks theirs nothing wrong with the way that particular staff member behaves while other parents have come forward and complained they think instead they want to diagnose your child with a problem instead this centre I can assure you is not run properly they don't follow policy and procedures they don't even let parents read them very very unprofessional they just want us to sign and agree and take your money they also treat the staff very unfair and lets not get started on the hygiene at this centre absolutely disgusting your child will always get sick all seasons round my child was physically and verbally abused by that educator i also have evidence of that abuse I have reported this matter to the director herself which clearly states my child is a lier and has diagnosed my child with a disability... She's very rude and disrespectful and manipulative clearly doesn't know how to run a childcare centre i advise all those parents who love their kids not to send them or enrol them at this centre I as a parent and a childcare worker myself am disgusted by the outcome of my childrens experience this aches my heart.....i honestly don't understand how this place is still open and not shut down

When I was looking for a day care for my 18 months old I was so nervous in where to enrol him , looking at some of the bad reviews I have to say so far my experience is going really good .So far I can’t thank the educators enough for making me feel confident in leaving my son in the morning and making him feel happy & comfortable, & so happy that my son is getting used to the environment & the day care.I hope it will continue to be this way ♥️

I couldn’t ask for a better childcare service for my son. The management and staff are so caring and attentive to all of our needs. My son really looks forward to attending day care and loves to come home and tell me about all the fun activities he did. His confidence and personality have really taken a boost since he started at Smart Cookies. I would highly recommend this centre!

Since my daughter joined this centre my wife & I have seen drastic improvements in her communication and social skills. She enjoys reading books and taking part in fun activities. She also has a close bond with a few of the educators which is important as well. So happy we found this place! Keep up the good work.

All 3 of my kids have settled so well at this childcare, they practically run inside now without saying goodbye at drop offs. My four year old has developed confidence from public speaking (they do Show and Tell). She has also led the Acknowledgement of Country for her peers- made me so proud. They also do experiments, cooking, imaginary play, 'culture of the month' and name writing- all of which have blown me away. My 3 year old has a global developmental delay and despite this disability, the educators have used exceptional strategies to help my daughter interact with other kids, engage in all the activities and she has bonded so deeply with the educators. I commend the educators for their tireless efforts caring for my kids, for their brilliant attitude and reassurances, for their constant communication throughout the day on the app (lots of cool photos and videos), and for asking for my input about my kids interests such as yoga and implementing this. Management have been very accommodating and supportive. I highly recommend this childcare, and would give ten stars if I could.

Good managers, lovely caring educators, happy environment; My daughter is very attached to me, and I am always worried because she is very sensitive, every time when I pick her up I can see how happy she is. She is more confident and most importantly she is having a good time there. Highly recommended
