I am new to Sydney and was desperate to find a good vet as lets be honest, at times they are very hard to come by. Growing up with a mother who worked as a Vet Nurse for over 20 years, she would often tell stories of how vets would always chose money over what was best for the pet / vets ripping off clients and so-forth. To be honest, I was a little hesitant in booking my dog into this clinic because of the reviews but I am so thankful that I did. The two female Vets I have had dealings with have been so great, polite, they provided great service and ensured I left understanding what they were saying. This is a really difficult time for everyone, and some processes are a little slower but everyone is making adjustments to suit Government guidelines. If you are needing a good local vet, then don't focus on the negative comments, just feel sure that your pet will be looked after here.

I called up for a same day appointment for my kitten who was sick, and even though they were fully booked they made sure to find time to squeeze her in that day. The vet was very thorough and helpful in addressing all the concerns I had. It was also very affordable. Will definitely be making this my regular vet for both my lovely kittens from now on!

What a fantastic place. After years of going elsewhere we landed at this vet and the difference is amazing. No charging for unnecessary vaccinations or treatments. The staff are friendly and the vet was very punctual. We were in and out in record time. I can not recommend this place enough.

The entire staff are excellent and do such a great job of accomodating my dog and her reactivity to other dogs while we are in for a visit. The doctor was so nice to my dog and answered all my questions. My dog couldn’t stop giving the doctor kisses, strange to say but I think my dog had a great time at her vet visit. So happy I found Alexandria Vet Hospital, highly recommend.

Awesome caring staff and not overpriced. Can't recommend them enough.

Very bad experience visiting the vet, i waited almost 30 minutes over the booked time, went inside and the doctor had a look at my cat then told me he will take a look at my cats ears. after a quick look he charged me almost $50 extra for the ears check without informing me anything about extra payment beforehand.I ended up paying almost $80 for the consultation + $50 for the cream + $50 for the ear check (i was not informed about the extra payment).After going back home i applied the cream to my cats ears as instructed and the situation got much worse, instead of two little scabs now it's bleeding and they took no responsibility in hand and told me to just take him back and pay another consultation fee even tho the first visit made it much much worse.
