Well worth the money, stories from an elda. Bit of didgeridoo. Teaches how to get a fire going with sticks, how to throw a spear. Also get to do a painting.

We had so much fun with the team at Top Didj! Manuel is a great story teller and he and Marnee made us feel welcome. The stories were engaging, the music was beautiful, the painting was lots of fun and it was such a surprise to make a fire with sticks and learn to throw a spear. Also a great gallery/gift shop with works from Manuel and other indigenous artists. And we got to pat rescue joeys!!

Had the opportunity to listen to an aboriginal guide’s story, draw my own art piece, throw a spear, make fire by rubbing two sticks together, and play with the wallabies! Art gallery is huge and has a lot of selection. Manuel also sang and played a traditional music instrument. Wallabies will jump into the shop and eat the mangoes nearby!

Our family had the most engaging time with Manuel whom is from the Dalabon tribe, Katherine. Our boys are 7 and 11 and the education they received was first class, we all enjoyed the opportunity to listen, paint and play. Manuel is a national treasure an opportunity you should not miss.

Absolutely loved our time with Manuel! Fantastic facility with beautiful artwork and friendly helpful staff. The cultural experience was soooo good - delivered in a hands-on way that works for all ages. Relaxed and fun, I'm so glad we did this. If you're in Katherine, do this, it's fantastic! Manuel, is a star - thanks for teaching us and sharing your stories.

Absolutely amazing. The cultural experience is a MUST DO. Make sure to leave room in your Katherine trip for it. Manuel is a talented artist and great story teller. He taught us how to paint, start a fire, and use a spear. Such a wonderful way to learn more about the local culture. Highly recommend!
