Great spot on the river. Get in before 2pm and you'll have the pick of the spots. Great swimming spot for kids.

Great spotCross the water to great spots it is sandy we watched a few heavy vans n boats get bogged in the sand.Toilet on the rd side n bin was dropped off as we were leaving.Water is lovely to swim in.

Best free camp on PDR, 2km north of Coen on the right. Drive across the river for the best campsites. Safe to swim and nice rope-swing.

Best free camp if heading up to cape york great swimming hole when you cross over creek on your left. No crocs.. small fish and cherubin to be caught. One drop toilet
