Bought a 100m Lazer measure from these guys that struggled to do 60mGet told well a 100m is a long way ?Won't refund it when it's not for for purpose.My mistake should have gone to Bunnings.

Be aware buying gift cards from Sydney Tools, because you can only use them either online or in-store, not both.So if you buy an online gift card, you can't use it when they have a sale in store.

Impressed with this store - a great range of quality tools for most trades. Well organised and easy to figure out where what you want should be. Clean, well lit, and professional (unlike the big barn place nearby). Two stories (no lift, only stairs). Beware the giant hole in the carpark spot on the right-hand side as you enter, nearest the street, because it's deep enough to damage a non 4WD (as at 19feb23). Store itself is great and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful.

Before you go to Bunnings or anywhere else, make sure you stop in at Sydney Tools Stafford - these guys are amazing, have the best range and only the highest quality brands. But what sets them apart is staff who know the industry and are from the industry. They go above and beyond to bundle packages based on the job or project or budget you are working on and cut deals that ensure you will be back. I know I will be. Thanks guys!

Can’t get over your salesman Mitch’s professionalism, helped me find every item I could need & when time for payment came his associate Tom was helpful aswell, will come back to this store and recommend it just for there service alone!

As per many other reviews, customer service here is atrocious.Was told when buying that we could return an item once my father who lives on a property 3 hours away had a chance to view noting this was also in the middle of COVID with border travel restrictions.When we went to exchange the item, a strict 14 day returns policy statement was thrown in our face.After escalating with head office was eventually offered an exchange and when letting the store manager know we wouldn’t be spending another cent at their stores the response we got was ‘nothing would make us happier’.Every product is available at many other local businesses which offer supreme customer service.

For the size of this place, they never have the tools I need. I was after a 16mm ring spanner with deep/long neck, and they had nothing. A lot of overpriced kits and tools, but never what you need. It’s a disappointment this place.

Honestly this Sydney tools has some of the worst customer service I’ve come across. I received a tip from tradie friends to go to the Virginia one instead and what a difference it is. Here everyone walks around grumpy and trying to get away with doing the least amount of work possible while in the Virginia one they are so much more positive and cracking jokes with you while giving expert advice. Would highly recommend people go there instead

Never been to Sydney tools before. Will never go again either.Thought boxing day might be a good day to go and have a browse around the store. Was immediately followed around the store by staff. Had a bit of a look around and realized it was more for tradies so I went to leave. Then the dropkick that had followed me around the store jumped in front of my partner and I and stated he had a bag check policy. He then proceeded to search my shoulder bag and my partners handbag.I get bag checks but I don't appreciate being treated like a thief just for browsing and not buying anything.Poor form guys.
