Sixty Foot Falls

After the rains, the route to the falls has taken a bit of a battering. There will be some muddy sections, and a small creek to cross which can be a little slippery. Plenty of overgrowth covering some of the path through. Not so well sign posted so worth being careful. Depending on which route you take, getting to the bottom of the falls can be a little challenging, however the pools at the top of the falls are also very refreshing, and the views from the top are great!

Nice hidden waterfall after approx. 1.5km walk (3km return)- took us around 30-40mins one way. Mild incline on way back. Follow the fire trail signs UNTIL just (a few metres) after crossing creek and turn left into overgrown looking track, this will follow creek closely and pop you out onto rocky area at the top of falls. Can then climb and follow rocky track along right side that will take you around to the front of the waterfall, where i imagine if conditions are good, you can climb down to bottom of waterfall as well.Main down fall is unmaintained tracks and signage and the loud hume highway right next to waterfall. But not very busy so your likely to have it to yourself.

Drove around in circles and couldn't find it. The street signs confused us. Nav is useless. We ended up at a winery and it was lovely

Great easy walk. Medium grade to get to the bottom of the falls. Which is a nice cool off on a hot day

Nice walk to the falls. Around 3km return. Involves a steep descent at the beginning which is your finishing ascent on the return. Just need to watch your footing. May be slippery after rain.

a fall with flying waters...Low water level, may be because of winter...

Lovely area but the track isn't suitable for everyone as lots of debris and very overgrown. Decent level of fitness or experience required until the track is maintained.A good challenge otherwise. Hard to identify the track in parts but a previous walker has left a pink ribbon trail to make it a little easier. Came across a few lost walkers due to lack of signage and not everyone was able to find the falls. Allow extra time to complete the whole 10.2km track

Invigorating walk in rural surroundings. The moderately strenuous climb is not very long and the views from the top make the effort worthwhile
