his is one of the most beautiful BnB’s I have ever stayed in! The rooms are sympathetic to the history of the building with all the modern amenities you would expect from a hotel. The rooms are very big and spacious! Ken and Sal were very accommodating for our arrival and cooked us a delicious breakfast! I will definitely consider coming back for a weekend!

We were greeted by the husband at the door followed by a hearty welcome from tje wife who have us a tour around the place and offered afternoon tea. Information of the local town and suggested activities are provided to the guests.

We've been to quite a few B&Bs in Australia and I must say that McGowans B&B is our favourite. Amazing rooms with beautiful breakfast! The owners are absolutely lovely as well. Will definitely visit again the the future

what a gem! a peaceful, gorgeously furnished period-style home with beautiful attention to detail. bed was comfy, shower was a dream, and the service was outstanding! sally and ken are friendly, generous, accommodating and incredibly thoughtful. we also loved meeting little Millie. would definitely stay here again.

I will definitely recommend this boutique hotel to all of my friends having a plan to visit Australia. Sal and Kim are very lovely and friendly couple. The decoration of the room is amazing for those who especially from Asian background. Sarah and I have been to many vintage shops since then and we wish we could have our own dream house the same as this lovely boutique hotel. Thank you Sal and Kim for your giving us such lovely memory and look forward to meeting you again.

Great b&b Friendly hosts that still give you plenty of privacy. Very comfortable bed in the Bank room in which we stayed. Good for a quiet and comfy nights sleep.

Food was amazing, best breakfast ever. Sal and Ken go beyond great service, from breakfast to all the little amenities in the room there is nothing more you could want let alone need.The room not only looks amazing but is super comfortable and homely.

JUST DIVINE.......This Amazing B & B HAS EVERYTHING!!!We couldn't have found a Better place to stay!!! The hosts were just Delightful!The accommodation was PERFECT.....Down to the natural bathroom products.I could go on. .. but. ..i haven't got time!!YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.....P.S. Fruit salad & yoghurt with breakfast wasTotally scrumptious xxx

manly sydney23A Beautiful place to stay.A beautiful place to stayWe have stayed here 3 times now when travelling between Sydney and the far NSW coast.The rooms, the extras, the breakfasts ,the hosts, were all fantastic.Ten out of ten!A comfortable, relaxing and superb place to stay.It is an easy 15 minute drive into the small towns of Harrington and Crowdy Head where you can have a walk along the beach and river and have dinner. But if you prefer Ken and Sal also offer to cook for you at night.This is where we will always stay when travelling north.Date of stay: April 2019
