BIG4 Plantation Caravan Park

We certainly would recommend this Park to everyone considering staying in Carnarvon WA. It's a very peaceful place to rest and reset. Really close to the Space Museum and its a short drive to the centre of town and that makes for a more tranquil setting. Now we all know how important it is to have friendly efficient people running these parks and that's exactly what you get when you stay here. Ketut is amazing and nothing is too much trouble for her. She can be seen constantly working towards creating a very clean and welcoming homey feel in the Park. Thank you Ketut and Wes for making our stay so enjoyable. An older but quiet van Park, nice young lady at office, great price, amenities older but clean, tidy and strong water pressure in showers, lots of trees and grass although a few bindii. Far enough from town.

We had a great experience here. Was a short drive to other parts of the town and had beautiful trees and birds surrounding the cabin. Ketut and other staff were lovely and service was excellent. Would say rooms were quite small but we had five people staying there. Overall thought this was great :)

Stayed in a family cabin which has not been maintained. Only one of 4 burners worked on gas stove, windows didn’t open, broken fly screens. Bathroom door didn’t close properly.Walls were dirty, bathroom smelled of mildew.Would not stay here again. Other caravan parks are much nicer.

Great little spot. We had a cabin up the back which felt very private like we had our own little orchard. We stayed longer than we initially thought and when it was time to go I really wasn’t ready to leave. We’ve stayed in many parks but this felt just like you were being welcomed into someone’s home - not the words spoken but the feel of the place. It’s not your typical Big 4 but that didn’t matter - looks fade but the feeling of a place is what counts. The owners were always about cleaning and caretaking and were super friendly. Close to town. Beautiful big shady trees. We hope that pool is fixed :) We would thoroughly recommend this great little park as it just has something different.Mary and Sheree

10/10 beautiful spot, just off the highway.Family run business, Ketut was so friendly and hospitable.We broke down after 5pm and Ketut reopened the office for us to check in for the night.Amazing spot amongst the trees.Large sites with level cement and grass all aroundSuper clean amenitiesCamp kitchen & poolWill definitely come back to stay again if we pass through canarvon.Thanks again Ketut

Super friendly and helpful owner. Enjoyed chattingwith her. The pool is ICY cold even though it was 35 C. Instant cooldown! Park is a standard regional van park, usual amenities.Ampol right next door for sundries. I bought a jar of pickled onions from one of the residents. The nearby orchards periodically boom to scare birds, which for me was quirky local colour. You can see the OTC dish glowing at night. Galahs abound. Leaning white barked eucalypts.There are some prickles, but proprietor was upfront about that, and that's camping I guess. I would definitely return for the hardworking and friendly proprietors, and especially the ICY pool.

Great place. Lovely lady checked us in. The birds are really loud though so just a heads up. Kitchen has a fridge/freezer and their is plenty of wash rooms. Wish the pool had a shade cloth. Would recommend the place.

We stayed for one night on a powered site. It seemed like the toilets and showers haven’t been cleaned for ages and that nobody takes care of the campground during the low season, which is annoying because we still had to pay the full price. So the value for price of 47$ is not good.In the morning we recognized that our battery wasn’t fully charged which is unlikely. So we called the caretaker to ask if the power is running regularly. He was very rude. He basically said it’s our fault, thar our battery was too old and that some other campers had the same issue but he thinks that’s not the problem of the campground. After that he told us to leave immediately.

Loved our stay here, went from 3 nights to 6.Ablution blocks clean with no shortage of hot water and great pressure in the showers.Laundry block was clean with 5 washing machines and plenty of clothesline space.Enjoyed watching the chickens scratching around and bought some eggs they tasted so good.Staff friendly and helpful.Recommend this park will definitely be back
