Tried the pistachio cake with lemon icing. The cake was soooo moist & absolutely delicious. Coffee was really good, too. I'll be back for more.

Great little cafe with absolutely lovely and accommodating staff. I have some recently imposed dietary restrictions (dairy and soy) and the server went out of her way to check with the kitchen the safety of the different foods they had on offer. They even added some bacon to this non-vegan’s vegan toastie at my request to beef (or I guess pork?) it up a little.I also just enjoyed one of the best coffees of my life here, which I honestly didn’t think possible when made on a non-dairy milk substitute, but this oak milk iced latte has blown my mind!

Why have I never thought about making an Iced Maple Latte before? Brilliant work Cleaver!!! The Pear & Earl Grey loaf and Pumpkin & sun dried tomato toastie are deserving of a 10/10 also. Customer service is never less than excellent.

So on the sage advice of a former local, I visited Cleaver.... Absolutely the best coffee I've had in a long time. Friendly staff, fast service. 10/10

I need to ask why this place is called cleavers? I associate a cleaver with butchers. I couldn’t even tell you if they serve products with meat. I’ve never bothered to look. Why? Because their muffins are so good. Fresh, moist and I imagine as healthy as a muffin could be.The muffin menu changes constantly. I have never had the same one twice. The flavour comes from the fruit, so they take the care to disperse it throughout, even with sliced fruit, the slices carefully dissect the muffin through the middle to ensure when you break the top off, the muffin is still filled with flavour. I suspect these muffins are filled with wholemeal flour and wheat germ to give some nutrition to people like me, who maybe aren’t thinking about their health when they are hanging out at 5am wishing Cleavers were open as they need a muffin for breakfast. Their scrolls are also delicious! (When they make them).Everything good here is hard to get. Why? Because it’s delicious, and when you make food that good apparently you only need to work until 12pm each day, as it’s all sold out. So get in early.

Excellent coffee at Cleaver this morning and a breakfast roll (Turkish bread) that hit the spot. Also took home a delicious freshly made muffin. Can highly recommend

The wonderful Cleavers Cafe Toronto, in particular their amazing Baker, made the delicious chocolate cake for my father's 91st birthday.Cake loved by all.Thanks Cleavers.
