tried to register a trailer and a boat, but of course couldn't because the employee was so lazy that instead of helping tried to find any excuse to send costumers away. that employee has very poor knowledge and very poor costumer service skills. clearly the form stated to go to question to on the form and normally she needed to cross another box stating that the trailer was previously registered as shown in pic.

Went here today so my sister could take her driving test. Only to be told she couldn’t do her test because there is no record of her doing the hazard perception test. When I watched her do it a year ago when she got her L’s. Lady working offered for her to do it again (had to pay for it again as well) but gave her 10 minutes to do it or she wouldn’t be able to do her driving test. Obviously a 25 question test cannot be done that fast and so she obviously didn’t finish in time. Lady said driver tester was already on “another run” and so told her she would have to rebook online. There was no offer to wait around or potentially do her test later in the day. Looked online and see the next available test wasn’t for another 2 months. Absolutely horrible experience, have now had to pay for 2 lots of hazard perception tests and 2 lots of driving tests. (Yes they charged for a second test even though they didn’t let her take the first one) Absolutely disgusting customer service. Now I have a sister in tears and ruined confidence and she was all ready to go and now this experience has left her not wanting to drive at all. Thanks Department of Main Roads. Maybe make your systems better so you can keep records of when people DO THEIR HAZARD PERCEPTION TESTS. Do better.

I recently rang D.O.T and was on hold waiting for my turn on the phone. I was listening to the messages being broadcast into my mind. I heard that fatigue kills, I already knew that, then I got to thinking fatigue kills and people know they are tired and they still get behind the wheel and kill other peoples families, seizures kill too and people who have seizures aren't aware they are going to have their very first seizure yet they get suspended for 6 months before they get to drive again so why is driving fatigued good for the ignorant ? these rules should be changed. its basically no different driving dangerously driving drunk driving drug affected or just driving and sneezing really. maybe the fatigued driver should have that device fitted to their car that the drink drivers have so if they are clean of alcohol they can drive. That's my opinion for today. not that any one asked. But here it is.This department of transport has been very helpful and I have never had any issues here or at any other department of transport in my 33 years of driving. keep up the good work !

I had the easiest experience, the young man who served me was friendly and helpful. Not like it for people to enjoy their visits to places like this but I certainly did. Happy to go in store for help than on the phone.Thanks guys x

I dont know where and how to start but i have to say, the customer service from one of the staff( woman in her 50s i guess) was very horrible and i think she must be one of the rudest person that i have ever come across in my life honestly. She needs to learn how to talk to people with kindness.if i had stayed there for a bit longer, I would have literally cried because i was really scared with the way how she talked with us. I don’t understand why people have to be that rude even if they make mistakes, can’t they just say in a polite way. Never coming back to the office because of that horrible woman and worst customer service experience. I hope she reads this.
